End-time Humility

Introduction:
These are words of life!
We have three days to go until the Feast of Trumpets, which is the next of the seven to be fulfilled. (30th September – 1st October.) It will see prophetic fulfilment in the ending of the church age and the start of the tribulation period. This is also where the rapture takes place.
Last time, I looked at the parallels between the various “end-times” that have shaped world history. The big common denominator being the arising of p***e and r*******n. I looked at the “I wills.”
For the believer, the opposite is true. As our Lord approaches, humility towards Him is required.
Proverbs 18:12 “Before destruction, the heart of a man is haughty, and before honour is humility.”
1 Peter 5:5-6 “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble, therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.”
James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up.”
Some definitions of humility: ●A low view of yourself. ●Freedom from p***e and arrogance. ●Being dependant on someone else. ●It is lowliness of mind in the sight of God and His word. It is not grovelling in the dirt. ●The humble have a regular diet of humble pie!
True biblical humility is total surrender to the will, ways and word of God and resistance to the ways, will and word of the world and the devil! We are never to humble ourselves to the world-system, the dictates of the flesh and the demonic.
We are to resist the devil, bind the devil and his works, and cast him out. Don’t go on a witch hunt after devils and demons everywhere, but do take required biblical action when necessary. (James 4:7, Mark 16:17, Mark 3:27)
We are to come out of the world, h**e our lives in the world and die to the world. Likewise we are to die to self and the flesh nature through the work of the cross. (2 Corinthians 6:17, John 12:25, Colossians 2:20)
None of these things above are defined as humility. So, we need to correctly apply the word to p***e and sin and to our lives before Him in humility.
Please understand that as these end-times develop, mankind arises in p***e towards God. As Satan sees his demise coming, he pours out wrath and persecution. (Revelation 12:12-13) Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. And when the d**gon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
At the same time, the wise exercise great humility towards God and His word.
Humility before God is a choice. It must be your choice. It is the required ingredient to have God’s knowledge, understanding and wisdom, especially for these end- times.
By the way, Spirit led knowledge is God’s input. Understanding is God’s organising of the knowledge, and wisdom is the application of it all. “Gnosis” is one of the original words for knowledge, but “epi-gnosis” is the word for knowledge that comes from above, by revelation. Similarly, “logos” is the word for ordinary words and “rhema” is the word for the word enlightened by God.
Proverbs 11:2 “When p***e comes, then comes shame; but with the humble is wisdom.”
The Bible makes it very clear that there are two sources of wisdom:
James 3:15-17 “This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly sensual and demonic...But the wisdom that is from above is first pure...”
1 Corinthians 1:19“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent...God has made foolish the wisdom of the wise.”
Surrender in humility to God involves surrender to His word. That means to surrender to the full doctrine of Messiah (Hebrews 6:1-2). It means surrender to a “fully preached gospel” (Acts 20:27), which is the “pillar of all t***h” (1 Timothy 3:15).
Obviously this includes the 35% or so of prophetic biblical eschatology!
In this time, tragically, more and more spineless, deceived pastors and teachers are not only avoiding eschatology, in their p***e – they are even coming against it.
Much of the church today is ignorant and deceived about all these end-time revelations because they do not study revelations the 35% of the Bible concerning end times. They are to busy with self. They have become targets for the devil! They are moving in p***e and not humility! They are surrendered to the god of self and of the world and they can’t even see it.
You need to find reliable sources of eschatology and value them as gold.
Guidance and safety in these dangerous days:
We all need guidance because we are all on an incredible journey. Some will end in eternal suffering and some will end in untold glory – forever.
Psalm 25:9 “The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way.”
The world is frantically trying to build its new Babylon – the kingdom of the world. Their new kingdom, just like Babylon is full of sin, and evil, which they rename and then accept.
The kingdom of God is in righteousness and peace. (Romans 14:17)
Satan is the god of this world and also the god of unsaved man. He has always tried to exalt himself and his world above God. His agents – the world-system, fallen man and the demonic are his prime tools to build his new world of counterfeit peace.
Remember that Satan wants to turn mankind into a god that he can control, and he wants a world that he can control. Now have a look at these verses:
Satan said to Eve, “You will be like God” if you eat of the tree. (Genesis 3:5) That was a big lie. But here is the t***h: God says to us: “We will be like Him!” (1 John 3:2)
What an amazing thing: “You will be like God” or “You will be like Him!”
Do you see it? “You will be like God”, Satan’s way, without the cross, is the way to be like the god of this world – Satan. But those who humble themselves now in this life under the true God will be like Him in the resurrection! How amazing is that? (Yes it is already a done deal in Him, but we still await the manifestation of it.)
Not only will we be like Him, our new world is something so glorious in every respect that we can’t even fully imagine it! Our new world that is coming soon will be the most exquisite splendid, superb, flawless, incomparable creation ever.
Psalm 149:4 “The Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.”
Satan’s new world, like his new t***shumanistic man, will be a failure. His new tribulation-filled world will be the protective home of sin, evil and wickedness, all with the common purpose of exalting and worshiping Satan and dethroning God.
Be sure of this: There are two kingdoms and you will be part of one of them forever, ever and ever!
One of the many required ways to spiritual safety in this day is to fall before the entire word of God. You need to receive it all and not edit out or cherry pick, what you don’t like. You are not to remove or change any part of scripture. You are not to avoid Bible prophecy.
1 Thessalonians 5:19 “Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophecies.”
May I share a personal testimony: Early in my Christian life, I was told of and realised the importance of the Bible. I often walked around holding my Bible on top of my head. I often bowed down on the floor to it. For me that was symbolic of the reality of surrender to the word. For me doing something demonstrative accompanied by radical prayer – worked. I often do demonstrative things with other things too. It works and also makes people think you’re nuts, which I like, because it means they’re nuts. I have now studied my Bible for over 40 years and still can’t get enough!
You don’t just drift out of sin in your life. Yes it has been defeated once and for all by the cross, but in our flesh or soul-life the battle must still be fought. And let me tell you that it is not a hard battle when you begin by changing your thought life and you are led by the Spirit.
Our new world will be characterized by holiness forever. The world’s new world will be a stench of sin. The new world of the unbeliever will last for a very short time and then it will last for a very long time in hell itself.
The “glory” of this world will go up in the smoke of judgment. The destruction of God will show no respect for all the Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s in the world. Everything that man esteems highly will become a pile of ashes.
There are so many pressures today from so many sources. There is really only one way to safety and that is through humility and its product of applied knowledge, understanding and wisdom of God’s word.
You must know your Bible, led by the Spirit extremely well in these days. You must be radical about it! You must be diligent in the extreme. Days of great regret and many tears lie ahead for many Christians who have been slobs in their seeking of our Lord.
Many so-called Christians who get left behind at the rapture will become angry with God instead of themselves. They will turn to the occult, witchcraft and deceivers. Of course many will repent and become tribulation saints. They will still have an opportunity to shine like jewels before God.
Have a look at this astounding portion of scripture:
Malachi 3:16-17 “Those who feared the Lord spoke to one another and the Lord listened and heard them. So a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His name. They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, on the day that I make them My jewels and I will spare them as a man who spares his own son who serves him.”
The following verses have the headline: “The Great Day of God.” So, one could extrapolate from this that those written in this book are those who are “spared” and are those of the pre-tribulation rapture.
Note the key points: ●They feared the Lord (humility before Him). ●They spoke with one another (had like-minded fellowship) ●They were known for knowing the word.
This is not the Lamb’s book of life. This is a special book for those who have specially excelled! Don’t you think it is amazing that God Himself would write a book with the names of His favourites in it? He calls the “jewels.”
Don’t tell me that God does not have favorites. That’s your tradition. Yes He has no favourites in terms of the foundation of salvation, but He most certainly does in other areas.
I believe that many reading these words are already written indelibly, by God in this book!
God’s authority:
People today live in a world of usurped authority and as a result, they are led into misinformation, myths, evil traditions and pure deception. They have opened themselves to be controlled by the ultimate, secret, camouf**ged controller.
Submission and obedience to God’s authority is a very wonderful thing. It actually sets you free in liberty from the dictates of the flesh and the world, and above all it gives you spiritual insight.
In the tribulation period, people will be exposed to the mark of the beast, which will be a control mechanism and a unifier to create subservience. The new digital man is dead, hell-bound puppet.
Humility and Israel:
Humility is required to see God’s call and plan for Israel.
Jeremiah 13:15-16 “Hear and give ear; do not be proud, for the Lord has spoken. Give glory to the Lord your God, before He causes darkness, and before your feet stumble on the dark mountains, and while you are looking for the light, He turns it into the shadow of death and makes it dense darkness.”
Ezekiel 7:7, 10-11 “Doom has come to you, you who dwell in the land, the time has come, a day of trouble is near and not of rejoicing...Behold the day! Behold it has come! Doom has gone out; the rod has blossomed, p***e has budded. Violence has risen up into wickedness.”
In these two dramatic verses above, we see the blinding effects of p***e relating to Israel and her fall. The same is true for the world and its blinding p***e on Israel’s coming repentance and salvation.
Just like the keyword for homosexuality is “p***e” the keyword for anti-Semitism and replacement theology is “p***e” resulting in the blindness it creates.
How can you go into spiritual warfare in ignorance and blindness to God’s choice and will? Show me an anti-Semite or minister of replacement theology and I will show you a blind, ignorant, deceived man, riding the beast into his own personal soon-coming Holocaust.
►2 Chronicles 6:6 “I (God) have chosen Jerusalem that My name may be there...”
►Zechariah 3:2 “The Lord said to Satan, the Lord rebuke you Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you.”
►1 Chronicles 21:1 “Now Satan stood up against Israel...”
►Job 41:34 “Satan is king over the children of p***e.”
These few verses above should shock a bit more than the socks off the anti-Israel crowd. It should shock them to their boots, but alas, they are too thickly blinded and deceived to even know that their boots are standing in an ocean of cow dung.
Suffering, signs, spirits, eyes, rapture and glory!
Zechariah 3:8-9 “Hear O Joshua the high priest, you who have companions who sit before you, for they are a wonderful sign; for behold, I am bringing forth My Branch. Behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua: Upon the stone are seven eyes. ‘Behold, I will engrave its inscription,’ says the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.”
I have never seen an appropriate analysis of the verse above. Perhaps it is because it is for this time!
►Who are Israel’s “companions?” This is often a term for Gentile believers who are companions of the Jews. Can we say that they are the born again church? – Yes we can.
►What is the “wonderful sign” that they are? It is the recognition by the Gentile church of the Jewish Messiah as theirs, but it will also be a spectacular unprecedented sign to the Jews, when the church is taken in rapture.
► “Bringing forth My Branch” is the return of the Lord.
► “Seven eyes upon a stone,” is symbolic of the seven Spirits of the Lord, the seven gifts of the Spirit in the church, and the seven churches of the Revelation. We the church, are built on the “stone (Rock Jesus Christ). We the church, are also called “living stones.” That would give us “eyes upon a stone”! This also has connotations of spiritual insight and wisdom.
Now comes the spectacular dramatic event that will crown history!
► “I will take away the iniquity of the land (Israel) in one day.”
