Why is Biden almost ignored in this? I saw no blatant quid pro quo in the transcript of Trumps phone call. But keep in mind, leaders do make subtle suggestions to other leaders as part of negotiations and conversation in order to advance their agenda. All leaders do this. Period.

But Biden's crap about I'm leaving in six hours was blatant quid pro quo. Did he have that authority? He indicated that he had obama's okay. Now you can say that this was years ago. But then these same people go back to high school and college for the slightest little tic about Kavanaugh, no matter how unsupported it is, in order to suggest that he be impeached.

What is k*****g Trump is his rendition saying that Zelensky said they were ready for anti tank weapons, Trump's response didn't have anything to do with details of that, but went into a "you would need to do something for me" mode. Quid pro quo is the wrong term and harder to prove than this being an obvious shakedown. Then take it one step further and Trump was interfering with and blocking the military aid that was supposed to and could have already been given to Zelensky. Actions and the timing of reality means more than what wasn't said. These were actions that should have been done through official state department channels, and part of what makes Trump unfit for office is his total lack of understanding for what parts of being a president are not his job.

Trump is undermining the faith of ally nations, who can trust the word of this president when the country v**ed to provide military aid for an ally that was in a desperate situation, and Trump steps in and blocks aid without anyone knowing about it for his own agenda... which by the way may have nothing to do with this but more to do with delaying anti tank weapons that would have been used against Russian tanks...that is would have, not could have. My guess is that Putin had something to say about the US providing weapons that would be used against Russian mercenaries. Trump did a big one for Putin there.
