Doesn't have to be, Trump delayed military aid to Ukraine without the state department or pentagon knowing what he was doing... my guess is as a favor to Putin so that his mercenaries wouldn't be hammered with US military arms.
There is no beauty of this, it's a distraction from the bigger deal which was Trump unilaterally delaying military aid that had been allocated by congress.

Withholding military aid is not in the conversation, that was an underhanded thing Trump was doing when the Ukrainian president was talking about the military aid he needed. He had no idea Trump was delaying his getting it. Neither did the state department or pentagon, they had no idea why the military aid wasn't proceeding.
Putin knows, this was a monster gift to Putin as he had been ramping up an attack on a hotly contested region that the Ukraine armies were forced to withdraw from. Russia was using tanks, the US was supposed to supply the Ukraine with sophisticated anti tank weapons. How do you thing Trump's friend Putin felt about the US supplying the Ukraine with the weapons to hammer his mercenaries?
But then I expect you to be too ignorant to look at anything but a quid pro quo on the Biden favor... the fact is Trump delayed military support that was crucial to the Ukraine, and a problem for Putin.

The postponement for funds, pending response from the UN was the beginning of July. By 25 July, the funds had been released. There was NO mention of money in the telephone call. There was only a request by President Trump to look into the firing of the prosecutor looking into a company connected to H****r B***n and only because Joe (H****r's Dad) had bragged about obama withholding $1Billion military aid if the prosecutor was not immediately fired. I posted a link to the video on one o0f your threads.
