*Full disclosure. The government can kiss my ass.

Nothing, since it is a bogus scare tactic just to gain more control.

Absolutely nothing. It doesn't exist as a result of anything man is dong so there is simply nothing we can do to correct it. We need to just relish a constant, refreshing itself, earth and enjoy the heat while it is hear and prepare for the next cooling cycle that is completely cyclical.

It's less about what is mandated than what the government supports. Government tax credit systems are hugely successful at stimulating sales of solar systems on homes and electric cars. High numbers of home system generation adds up to surprisingly high numbers. The right has a knee jerk reaction to the government supporting these programs, but says nothing about hundreds of billions worth of subsidies to oil, gas, and coal industries. The government sets the scale as far as the pace of t***sitioning into renewable power and getting out of oil, fas, and coal. Coal is dying a natural death, it has reached it's limit and there is no sense in subsidizing and extending it's last death gasps.

I was going to put in a solar system two years earlier but tax credits had expired so I waited. With the tax credits and saving an average of at least $500 a month I pay for the system in a little over two years. More people switch to solar when the government helps out, and why shouldn't the government do that when they subsidize corporations for hundreds of billions of dollars?

And I guess my point addresses the kind of power we are using, but there isn't much of an argument to be made for Kilowatts generated with wind and solar that makes no pollution versus f****l f**ls that do.

I agree. Many of the true believers on OPP, you know the constant whiners and woe is me, bad man is destroying the planet with our CO2. What are they willing to allow the govt. to mandate they do or change? Don’t think I’ll hear much from any.

Bravo! The extremely wealthy concocted this plan to do two things, gain power over the peons, and pick the pockets of those who work hard and redistribute to others. It is a very sad thing that more people cannot see this.

If man isn't burning a few hundred million gallons of gasoline a day in cars the air wouldn't be cleaner right there?

For those who are too closed minded to see and don't live in an area like Los Angeles or the Sacramento Valley, regulations make visible difference in smog you can see with your eyes and feel with your lungs and the way you feel.

There is no reason to stop the sensible things that keeps mother earth clean and healthy recycle/not throwing plastic bottles in our lakes, oceans, and rivers ect if you're out of cigarettes and the gas station is 1block away walk don't drive. But as far as us causing harm to the planet the cause for the up in co2 and other dastardly things mother earth herself with her growing pains of volcanoes and earthquakes put out far more than we ever will. what we are seeing is her clock of change so I hope your ready

But you have no ability to do a simple calculation based on how much oxygen was regenerated by a known amount of forest acres and subtract half or more of them and be able to determine through the math and common sense how much less of a CO2 oxygen exchange there is?

Just as I thought. You won’t agree to any kind of mandate unless it benefits you economically. Thanks for making my point. .

JF-I kinda deviated from your ???..but I am willing to allow our govt to mandate that no fabricated agenda's or schemes-like this c*****e c****e/GW s**m-ever be taken seriously again..and/or be treated as some kind of forgone conclusion.

You also might want to reconsider letting anyone from their 'Utopia on the Potomac' (Washington) kiss your ass, too-I certainly wouldn't turn my backside towards any of those politicians-you might be setting yourself up for a surprise 'reach around' (at this point from either side). One of my favorite sayings about these clowns is "they deserve to be publicly shamed and humiliated very badly..but I wouldn't p*ss on them to put em out..even if they were on fire in the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue".
