Given Sec of State, John Kerry and President Obama's attitude of the whole Bergdahl story, something makes me think that we are being set of to look like fools while they play their secret games...

What if Sgt Bergdahl was a secretive operative working for our government, his secret mission to be captured by the Taliban and infiltrate their organization and learned as much info on the workings and people in the Taliban organization?

Sgt Bergdahl spent the next 5 years living under constant threat of his life while he went about his assignment. A true hero "Above and Beyond the Call of Duty"

Ironically, he might go down in History as a Deserter and t*****r, an unsung hero to America.

8 days now since his release and he hasn't even talked to his parents?

Is the Military and CIA still debriefing him and keeping him in isolation so the real time info he has doesn't leak out?

To me, it's not Sgt Bergdahl that that might be the t*****r but his father Bob Bergdahl. A willing tool that might be caught up in the whole deception by our intelligence gathering operatives? Bob Bergdahl has show his true colors when it comes to standing up for America... and quite possibly his own son...

Ferrous-not likely=this is more a la James Bond. If they wanted to infiltrate the Taliban they would pick one of their own and turn him or at least one of the same/similar nationality and appearance. He would also have to be able to feedback information on a timely basis and be accepted by the group which he infiltrated. That is the very reason it takes so long to train someone to be able to fit in, have the guts to take that chance, and see the task through. We can take one of theirs and turn him to our side and send him in but they can also turn him and have him feed us bogus information or eliminate him. That is why when we have defectors like Snowden and others who have revealed the names of our agents those people receive an immediate death sentence so it takes a very brave and very committed person to act in such capacity. Just imagine yourself as an agent in the midst of the Taliban and they find out who you are. Think of what you will go through before you finally die. Some people view Snowden and other defectrors as patriots, I view him them as d********g, sniveling rats. Good Luck America !!!

He spent 5 years training the Taliban, it is obvious when you watch that film/video of an exchange procured by the foreign enemy state of Qatar, the stance of those Taliban Islamocodomites, is the standard U.S. Military weapons at the ready for possible split second reaction to defend or attack, his look was not one of a distressed prisoner but a commander and D.I., there is a body language evident to every one's eye, this deserter was highly respected by his 'security' staff, this was no 'exchange of prisoners' this was a redeployment/t***sfer of their field commander, it would not surprise me if a special commendation is invented by his handlers in Husseyn-Obama's H.Q. Yes he's a hero but for the other side.

rodulfo-tardo-the Taliban leadership is highly intelligent and to have them negotiate with an air head like Susan Rice is like pitting a second grader against the school principal. They purposely starved Bergdahl for a few days six months or so ago, then took the video pictures. He was probably well fed as soon as the session was over. That convinced the Obama negotiators that he was near death. Think about it, he was the Talibans best bargaining chip so would they try to keep him healthy at all costs ? He sure did not look near death when he walked to the helicopter. He was blinking but they probably had just removed his blindfold. The only thing we know for sure is that he left on his own. Whether he was impaired in some way and that is what led him to leave is still unanswered. The soldiers who served with him do not bear him malice and all they would ask him is, Why did you leave ? Since there is a Taliban Office in Qatar, it is reasonable to assume that the give terrorists have already made contact and are busy getting up to speed so they can k**l more Americans even before they are allowed to leave Qatar.
