Security advised not to answer. When you answer they could get info even without talking further. Look at the number, if you don't know caller, don't answer and just hang up. I have many of those and they just stopped calling if nobody answered.

I got the tax s**m call.
I didn't answer.
I checked the phone number and saw it was a s**m.
I called back, yelling at him.
By the time he got a few expletives from me, he was stammering and hung up on me.

The problem is, many of them rotate their numbers so we can’t block them. Somebody needs to pressure the FCC to get involved and levy heavy fines on them.

They are not allowed to call business. So when you get a live person you simply ask them how that got this business number and by the time you ask the 2nd time they hang up and you don't get any calls from them again.

Only 2? We get about 6 a day on slow days. There's a block option on some phones. There's also a DO NOT CALL list. Telemarketers seem to get around both of these but it is a crime. So I guess report them to the police.
