We live in a nation of Self Righteous people that can do no wrong.
Every one else is unwelcome in their world.

I am one who can call my self part of the right people if I wished.
I say wish to stress that we need to have a system that has room for all.
As a older white male in the past I just accepted my white privileges' with out question.
At about six years old. (!942-43 I saw a colored lady drink from a water bubbler that was mark colored next to one that was marked white. The first colored person I had ever seen.
After the lady left I went & took a drink from both faucets.
I could not tell any difference

I just went home to my white roots.
This has stuck with me through the years.

At about 22 years old I went for a job interview:
I don't recall seeing any white faces.
Just lots of black faces.
Many just milling around outside.
People went in & people came out.
I questioned my self for hang around. But I did & my turn came & they took me in for a physical & told me I had a job.

I was greatly relived to find I was called in for a difference job for the next day. One that was hiring both black & white.
So I had a job.

Late in the year I was drafted into the army. Where my whiteness lead to a job in a personnel office of a Battalion. One day a black person showed up to be a part of the offices. He just was gone in a flash.
I had not had the training for that job & the black man did.

I am not clear in just how & when the issue became an issue for me.
I will just say that I try to treat every one I meet with respect.

I am faced with some in my own family that I feel sure do not agree with me.

For what ever it is worth we need to treat each other with the respect we wish to receive from others..


I just feel that there needs to be room in our system where all have a chance to be an effective part of the whole.

Oh and you're so gullible to sit there and actually believe that there was a southern switch that is a complete farce did you ever hear what the southern Dixiecrats ever said they are going to die Democrats meaning they're never leaving the Democratic party and they never did you can Google it my friend you can look at the list of all the southern Dixiecrats and yes there was one that did switch over to the Republican party but he wasn't a dixiecrat he was just a regular Democrat so much for the disinformation campaign you can try that on somebody else man it's not going to work God y'all are so brainwashed. And yes you're right Ronald Reagan was a Democrat until he was forced out of the Democratic Party remember the Red Scare of the 1950s and the McCarthyism that went on in this country by calling everybody a c*******t they called it the red and at the time Ronald Reagan was the president of the Screen Actors Guild for Hollywood and he was in charge of finding out if there was a c*******t group in Hollywood in fact his wife Nancy Davis was on that list and after that that's when he decided to leave the Democratic party because he felt like they were not the Liberals that they used to be they were already turning into the l*****ts that we see today that's why when he got with General Electric he started doing weekly television series where he would go around to different parts of America talk to the people about what was important to them that's how he got his knowledge that's what made him so great later on down the road because he did all those things he went out and spoke to the average American about what was concerning them all you got to do is just go YouTube Ronald Reagan's time for a change it was a 1964 stump speech for the Goldwater campaign where he actually talks about liberalism and you'll be astonished about how smart and astute he actually was even for that time.
