Just a simple curiosity. Looking at that picture of the candidates, I always wonder why some people feel the need to stand out and say, 'Hey, look at me. I'm different. I'm special.' And then they deck themselves out in bright colors so they can be more noticed and keep that special status. All the time saying we are all equal, when obviously trying to claim special status and notice. Meanwhile most of the others wear approximately the same thing in bland colors. All equal in appearance. Like at that last State of the Union when all of the democrat women wore virginal white. (Yeah sure). I first made notice of this occurrence many years ago at p**********l press conferences. Bland colors except a bright red or yellow out there. 'Hey, look at me. We're all equal, but I'm special.' And they always got called on. I know. Some feel that they can wear what ever they want, but others know the dignity of Congress, etc. and wear the uniform of the day. And it isn't just colors. Some wear clothes that covers everything but their hands and faces. While others feel that it is okay to appear in just a shirt often with short sleeves and plunging neck lines.

Like I said, just a simple curiosity or observation.

What's mine is mine to use as I see fit. I can donate it to those groups and people I wish to donate to, not the things that the socialist government forces me to donate to like Planned Unparenthood or the Southern Poverty making law center, By the way, capitalists donate twice as much to charity as do the "progressives" according to many well documented studies.

Well, well, I’m fear not the Republicans. I’ve been around too long and seen too much on several continents. Socialism is the devil’s plan. Please do not let yourselves be fooled. Remember when Obama said you didn’t build that, you don’t own that. He wasn’t kidding. Under socialism, they own it, you work it to support “them”.

Republicans abhor socialism but don’t realize Social Security has been in existence since early 1900s & Medicare
for many decades. If Republicans h**e
socialism soooo much, why do they like
receiving their Socialty Security checks
and using their Medicare coverage????

Social Security isn't socialism. Get some education. If it was Socialism everyone would get an equal amount and everyone would put in the same amount, then distributed by the government. I don't know many Americans thrilled with S.S.. It's what they have earned. They are pleased to get some of their own back. Social Security was passed in 1935 and the first taxes were collected for it in 1937. Both social Security and Medicare are Socialist like programs and both are in big financial straights. Tell me again how well socialism works?

Trump 2016 campaign promised to keep
Social Security & Medicare solvent, and GOP House members continue espousing
their allegiance to continue these programs for their constituents . . . until
Trump reminds them of their obligation
of loyalty to GOP agenda to destroy any
social programs that benefit we the people!

Where'd you come from? Trolls anonymous? You're as dumb as the rest of the lefties on this site. Social Security is solvent until 2034. There are discussions presently to keep it solvent. Not a politician in the world that will try running on reducing benefits. Exactly what's wrong with Washington and the people of the country. Money doesn't grow on trees. Someone will pay. both parties are compulsive spenders. They just prioritize differently, what to spend on. You seem to be a compulsive liar. The GOP used to actually have the balls to talk about these programs and alternative plans. Now because of all the fear mongering from the left nothing gets done.

You are clearly in the dark about socialism. It seems you were not aught about real socialism during you school years. It seems you know nothing about countries like Venezuela or just refuse to believe they are a socialist nation.

Lone, I'll educate you. One day you have socialism, a few days later it becomes c*******m which was the goal from the start. Too bad you can't ask anyone because they will lie and say that they want "Democratic Socialism." It doesn't and can never exist. What you'll get is a few elites who will attempt a c**p so only one is at the top. As far as that list, all of that goes with socialism. I have a friend who has been waiting for a bed (some heart issue) did she get one yet? No.

Socialism under a Dictator rule is c*******m. Socialism under a Democracy is what made this Country Great. For the people, by the people, of the people, true Socialism, not C*******m !! Thank you Lonewolf for your post.
