It seems to me that industry lost its morality when NAFTA made it possible to take their manufacturing out of the country to get cheap labor and give larger bonuses to upper management and dividends to demanding shareholders. They turned their back on the American worker and the country that made them great. There are people that think tarriffs on China are the way to go. Why not congressional action that gives American manufacturers notice to return to the United States or else. Industry should locate where there is high unemployment . It would help a lot with the social ills caused by hopelessness.
