SOLUTION:

It should be illegal for Democrats to own guns.

Actually, it was an honest inquiry by me since I had never a seen or read those charges before. I did read the entire link you posted and curiously found Snopes not denying many of the shooters politics but simply stating they could not confirm political parties of many of the assassins.
