well Larry was goin over his new boat
and discovered the trailer had no spare
of course he was extremely upset
he called the dealership and they told him the spare for the trailer was optional
and that the salesman should have explained that(of course he didn't)
Larry told them he would be out to get the spare put on
and they said they would have to order it
he wants to get the boat in the water and start breaking it in
and now has to wait til spare comes in
can you imagine a dealership being so poorly operated?

It does sound rather pathetic I would think that they would have them in stock for just such reasons as this. Plus it would be real good for customer relations if they had them in stock they can't take up that much space.

When you first said that Larry had purchased a new boat I was going to ask you if your daughter was having her period. It reminded me of a story of this guy that goes to the sporting good store to get his wife some tampons and the new salesperson tells him he should just go fishing because his weekend is shot because his wife is having her period ends up selling this guy new fishing equipment and a boat and trailer and then a new SUV to to pull it with and the bill is like $80,000.00 when he leaves the store. The manager is really surprised at how this kid did all of that selling. It is a funny story.

My son ordered a new boat and they had on paper exactly what he wanted.
It finally came in with the wrong color carpet.
They were sure they could convince him to take it.
They finally said they'd knock off a thousand dollars.
He told them you already have the price lowered a thousand on all your new boats.
He made them order another one.
Man that kid is picky about his boats.
I've gone fishing with him and as soon as we get it out of the lake, he finds a car wash.
