Yes and social security will bankrupt the country.

If social security is such a drain on the country (that I’ve paid into for all of my working life) what is the drain of both personal and country welfare? This is money given away every year that is paid into by no one. We borrow this money to give it away to other countries, the welfare we “give” to people who are on the second and third generation welfare. Is this an acceptable drain but paying me back the money I’ve payed in is not? Your logic escapes me.

Red F**g laws undermine the very foundations of this country. Due process, innocent until proven guilty. Law-abiding gun owners would be required to prove their innocence, because their property would be confiscated FIRST, then even if they win in court, they are out attorney fees, court cost, ect. America has had easy access to guns for 240 some-odd years, mass shootings didn't start until the 1960s. As the left defined deviancy downward, cheapened life, basically debased, degraded and corrupted the culture these k*****gs are the results. Of course the left wants to blame guns, and they certainly don't want to even consider any real solution because it would require them to examine the true underlying cause. There are already 270-300 gun laws on the books, (they are rarely enforced.) It is actually sick and twisted to USE the senseless deaths of innocent people to advance your political goals. The leadership of the left KNOW law-abiding citizens participating in their Constitutional right are not the problem...but they ARE the target.

Well I don't like trump and it is for good reasons. I don't over look the damage being done. I work hard or my money and ask the government for nothing. I hold an elected office and I get paid nothing. That's me

I read the same statistics. More modern statistics point to the AR. Remember El Paso Wal Mart just a few weeks ago? I proposed Making the AR the m-16 The AK etc, part of the class 3 weapons class which means you have to have a class 3 permit to own one. There was a ban on their manufacture from 1994 to 2004 and it did help. Every one clamors about nuts with guns. A nut will not pass the class 3 weapons check.

The last shooter failed a background check and still used an AR-15. They will get the same weapon or one worse. Why should I be subject to a class 3 background check? The ban was a failure. That’s a statistical fact. More modern stats show no discernible increase due to ownership of AR-15’s. I gave you facts. You just don’t like em. You are willing to give up guaranteed rights for security. I get it. I’m not.

I got it. You were saying if red f**g laws will be abused it’s like saying Social Security will bankrupt the country. In other words you have way more faith in the left than I do.

Sorry Tom, but you seem to be a bit confused. The AR 15 is the civilian copy of the M 16 ! AR is the abbreviation for the Irish Co. that created the M 16, Armolite. For a bright person I don't get how you'd be confused about this ??? The only difference between the M 16 & the AR 15 is that the M 16 can be put in a fully automatic mode whereas the AR 15 can only be put in the semi automatic mode ! I guess you don't get the reason the Founders put the 2nd Amendment in. It was so the civilian population would be able to throw off an oppressive government. Come live in N. Y. & you'll get a perfect example of an oppressive gov't. Try living under the thumb of emperor andy !!! It'd be an enlightening experience for you !!! Bet you $10 bucks he'll run for president in 2024. Then Americans will understand the reason for the 2nd Amendment if he's elected !!! God help us if i***t joe is elected !

How about I hold a chair in a road district. I keep a road up for 200 residents in my district. I fill potholes dig ditches clean culverts clear brush etc. along with administrative duties. When I and two others started the district our road system here was such a mess that people were driving up on the right of way and making their own road. School busses police and fire refused to drive here. Now after 9 years of hard physical labor we have a very good road with regular maintenance. It has not been easy.

Red f**g laws are neither right or left. I can agree there will be abuse in some cases such as girl friends wanting to ditch a boyfriend as sometimes happens in domestic cases now.
