Many on this forum have fears of what is going to happen.
They wish to change things.

It is not about changing the way things are. But the fears of what may happen if the changes take away what they have.

I & my children, grandchildren & great grandchildren are doing fine. It is my wish to see that, that continues. As I wish the same for you family & that all families may have the same hold true.

To put it bluntly I & mine are white.

I see that the biggest fear coming from most on this site as coming from the Obama h**ers.

Now they say it is not about race. But all they want to do is blame him for all of the problems going on.

But the day to day running of the country is going on as before with the rich getting richer.

If we fail to see that & do nothing we will be in for all of the problems you will fear happen.

We as a nation are a people that are sharply divided.

Divided between the rich & poorer.

Each of us is making a choice in what we wish to see in the future.

Is it to stay greatly divided or are we going to find a way to see that life becomes more livable for most?

I fail to see how the man on the street having more of what I have will make my world go away.

But if the Money Changers have their way the rest of us will continue to see our life's wishes fade away.

As usual, your observations are in-line with my own.

I'm reading a book (yes, a book in this day and age) about Scarcity, "Scarcity: Why Having Too Little Means So Much". Much of it is the psychology of scarcity. Most of it is intuitive, but it separates facts from opinions. The topic is spot on for what you address.

We are sinking into the quicksand I call the mess being made by the Money Changers. They have sucked to much of the solid ground from under our feet.

Really all that is needed is to stop sucking so mush & leave a little for others.

I am sure that this would leave it possible for all to have what is NEEDED to live with. Making it a better world to live in.
