As long as the companies do everything to protect the area, I say go for it. It's a fact that the animals will adapt to the intrusion and in many cases thrive from it. Farmers on tractors and trucks see more deer than h****rs on the same land ever will because the animals feel no threat.

One of the tactics used by "environmental groups" is to use arguments describing decades-ago conditions and ignore more up-to-date improvements in environment friendly equipment and operating procedures.
When environmentalists spoke years ago, the government listened, the results being an America that leads the rest of the world in a "cleaned up act," but in order to remain what they imagine to be relevant, these folks have only become more aggressive and demanding to the point of being both outrageous and unreasonable.
