Yes, it sounds like he may be. Not from combat, mind you, but from the last two and one-half to three years of this administration.

Trump Derangement Syndrome and Agent Orange has apparently effected both of your judgements on this site. Check into a VA hospital ( with ovommit as president you would have waited 2 years to see a doc as he h**ed you guys) ASAP and get the appropriate care. Make that appointment today.

You're flat-lining again, internlarry. If anyone is infected with TDS, it would be you.

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a satirical psychological diagnosis used to explain the hysterical reaction and belligerent behavior of people, pro or con, generally directed towards anything related to President Donald Trump as pertaining to his presidency. It isn't intended to be a logical argument, rather a jab at another individual's excessive emotional reactions as well as aggressive physical displays. It is an ad hominem argument, not a strawman argument as suggested by definition...and, there are numerous variations on TDS, all of which have their own particular partisan/ideological twist to them.

TDS was originally a made-up condition, conceived as an insult label by the alt-right to attack anyone who criticizes or refuses to support Donald Trump. The idea being the left is so obsessed with Trump they have collectively lost their minds. Like many of their other little online crusades, this one has backfired. People dislike Trump for actual reasons which often go well beyond just politics or partisanship, and if anyone has Trump Derangement Syndrome it's those on the right that blindly support him. They have lost their sense of morality, religious convictions, principles, objectivity, all discernment, and even the ability to have a civil discussion or reason. So the term has now been co-opted by others to refer to Trump supporters who are blinded by their unrealistic devotion to Trump.

The origin of the term 'Trump Derangement Syndrome' is traced to political columnist and conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer, a psychiatrist, who originally coined the phrase 'Bush derangement syndrome' in 2003 during the presidency of George W. Bush. That syndrome was defined by Krauthammer as "the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies, the presidency – nay – the very existence of George W. Bush." The first use of the term 'Trump Derangement Syndrome' may have been by Esther Goldberg in an August 2015 op-ed in The American Spectator; She applied the term to "Ruling Class Republicans" who are dismissive or contemptuous of Trump. Krauthammer, himself a harsh critic of Trump, later defined "Trump derangement syndrome" as a Trump-induced "general hysteria" among the chattering classes, producing an "inability to distinguish between legitimate policy differences and ... signs of psychic pathology" in the President's behavior.

I’m a retired veteran. I’ve lost faith specially because of my former Party the Republicans. It started with Sarah Palin, but now, it’s truly profoundly sick. Trump isn’t the threat - it’s the blind corrupt politicians who enabled him and the brainwashed weak minded sheep who follow him. It’s CRYSTAL clear who and what trump is. However, Republicans are brainwashed with fear, r****m, paranoia, false patriotism, and f*****m. Going all the way back to McCarthyism, but today it’s all done by trump and filth like Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, and Alex Jones. Fear is the easiest way to control weak minded people. Trump is a vile, repulsive, corrupt, global elitist, born rich, spoiled, hooker-addicted, r****t, entitled brat who went to Ivy League college on daddy’s dime, chickened out of the draft 5x, inherited everything he has, went bankrupt 5x (a form of welfare), and built his life of extreme greed on the backs of i*****l i*******t construction workers and shafting blue collar vendors. Not to mention he put his own kids on the Whitehouse payroll while they continue to run his businesses & use their govt positions to make deals for daddy. NEPOTISM. He also using taxpayers money to fund his Mar-a-largo resort and DC hotel. His entire staff is made up of global elitist rich pigs trying to pillage America to line their pockets. Biggest swamp on earth. He’s also the first president to insult veterans on Twitter, to skip Arlington & WW2 ceremonies because of rain and his hair, and the first to refuse to spend Christmas with troops (despite a VA hospital just a mile from the Whitehouse). Not to mention he held a phony fundraiser during the e******n and stole from veterans. He throws tantrums on Twitter like a 4 year old. Directly uses his position to degrade and sow distrust of the free press and the FBI/DOJ. He blatantly encourages violence and threatens jail time against his opponents and protesters. He routinely calls the free press the "enemy of the people." Not to mention, his ENTIRE CAREER in NYC has been one of extreme corruption and attacking disabled veteran vendors. Trump only cares about himself, his ego, his wallet, and his penis. Trump could care less about America, except to gaslight it for his ego and wallet. 17 investigations, almost all of his closest long term advisors have all pleaded guilty, been convicted, or are under investigation. Absolute sick level of corruption.

I have done some interning with Dr DeBakey and Dr Denton Cooley, 2 of the greatest cardiovascular surgeons in the world. If that bothers you, you need serious help. Your definition of TDS is full of holes and false innuendoes. I do hope that you have a change of heart about what party you support. If not, I am highly qualified to do a heart t***splant!!

Oh, btw...I can get 'feisty' every once in-a-while, myself.

Slats, we all enjoy it when you get feisty. Furthermore, being a native born Texican and proud of your state and heritage is not without good reason and purpose. I particularly prefer the remoteness of West Texas. 😀

Is the spelling of "feisty" an exception of the "I" before "E" etc rule? Never noticed this before.

A good asylum?.. Perhaps you could recommend one from your past experience..

Thank you, Padre. I prefer the Hill Country of Central Texas. But, as most states have their own particular beauty, there is much to be found in all parts of my beloved Texas.

I had never noticed or thought of that either. But, it appears that 'feisty' is indeed an exception to the rule of "I after E, except after C." Good catch...it escaped me.

Congratulations, internlarry, as I will take you at your word.

However, the totality of your OPP comments confirm your being the living embodiment of what Will Rogers is attributed to having said (paraphrased), "There are none so ignorant as the educated man once you get him off the thing he was educated in."

JMHO.
