Sanford and the other two who have announced primary challenges all poll at less than 1% while President Trump has a 91% share of Republican v**ers who say they will v**e for him.
The Republican parties in a few states with likely more to follow have ruled out bothering to hold primaries and Trump has said he won't even waste his time debating what he calls "The Three Stooges," LOL.
This thread, just like the efforts of the three wannabe primary challengers, is a complete waste of time and energy.
President Trump will be reelected to a second term -- the Democrats sure as hell don't have a candidate who stands a chance of beating him, just look at the panel of pitiful clowns who are all vying to be kicked to the curb on 3 November 2020.

I am not sure you understood my post. Whichever Democrat is nominated will be mandated to attempt, not to merely weaken Trump, but defeat him; that will be their role as the representative of the opposing party. It is absolutely NOT the role for members of the President's party to try to weaken the President to make it easier for the Democrat party to win; that in fact is the definition of treason (not the criminal act against the country, but the meaning of the word when used to describe actions committed by a person against those who trust him and of whom he is supposed to be part.)

As far as I know nothing. If it came right down to it, I would love to get me a guvment job too. My trouble is that I am just not a good liar, but I can lean on a shovel with the best of them.
