What kind of asset would they spend time and effort on who had no access to any government secret information let alone any power to create policies or advantageous treaties.
Unless you are saying they had a precog who they trusted enough to base long term operations in play knowing one day Trump would be President.

I hope you are right. When looking at all of Europe America has more in common with the people of Russia than any other country. As the Russian people gain their freedoms we are losing ours. What you totally fail to see is Trump's bank account hasn't profited hundreds of millions of dollars as the Clinton's has. The Trump administration has not sold Russia uranium to make nuclear weapons. Until you can show this kind of treason by the Trump administration your words are hollow. Get a clue.
