Congress (By Law) Is Supposed To Form Tariffs and Budgets...Even FOX Understands The Law

Here's a case where Trump and right wingers will refuse to consider the rule of law, the way the constitution spells out the separation of powers. You know, that thing where congress actually has more power than the president where budgets are concerned?

When Obama took office he wanted to stop the exodus of US solar manufacturing leaving this country to China. Congress took on the project of designing tariffs and policies that would take away the advantage in the industry to the Chinese products, that were of course enjoying a price advantage.

Presidents do not whip ideas up out of the thin air in their heads like Trump does. Congress decides, congress sets up committees that work deals out with the state department, embassies, and foreign affairs. Problems are assessed and solutions looked at. Congress after hearing the arguments and debates and weighing outcomes and downsides v**es on the solutions.

Trump is one deeply flawed and ignorant man changing the whole world's trade balances on whims that will not work well. It is time to call Trump out on the boundaries he is overstepping, this is not his job and he does not have a clue what he is doing.

Listen to the video of Napolitano as he talks about congress giving away it's powers to presidents past and present.

Lonewolf and Woodguru, you are the perfect example of someone living in a "Cone of Uncertainty".
