Do not currently own a single gun, have owned many guns.
Now, some may possibly consider the guns owned weapons of mass destruction.
Taught to use guns properly at a young age.
Also owned self-defense school.
A strong supporter of the NFA.
My opinion only, do not fall into the trap of gun confiscation.
History will bite you.

When I was in high school we took our guns and ammo to school in the fall to hunt dove and rabbits after school in the autumn. Back then we were considered rural. Virginia Beach, Va. We would shoot rails and brant and geese and ducks in Lynnhaven inlet, deer and rabbits in the fields and woods, heck we would even catch ducks by running them down in boats with a fish net. Back in the 60,s and early 70,s we kinda ran wild. We didn't drink or smoke dope but we did have a thing for running wild. Dang, that was fun! Mike

Amen Brother. You speak the t***h. I own a bunch of guns because I can and I like shooting them. I've never and hope I'll never have to aim a gun at another person but if I do I will have one and if I do have to aim at someone, the trigger will be pulled because I've done everything in my power to walk away.

I have been a h****r for many years and have k**led and eaten a ton of critters. I'm still a h****r but no longer a k**ler. I take a firearm now for protection but now enjoy watching the sun break the utter darkness and listen to and watch the wildlife come awake with it. Mike

Don't worry. I don't buy the doing it for safety.
I inherited a lot a long time ago and the only one I can remember is a 303 Brit.
They're gone now.

Sounds like fun.
I'm a girl, but I would have wanted to go, too.
I used to watch my dad shoot. He was very good.
My friend went by his house once and my dad had bought a new gun. He wanted to hunt pheasant on his land.
My friend went and told me my dad couldn't hit anything.
He finally threw the gun as far as he could and said, damn gun.
We also had a property with a natural lake.
Posted everywhere, no hunting. That didn't stop anybody from hunting there.

Oh Darlin, I had a British .303 Jungle Carbine that I sporterized when I was 16. It was the sweetish shooting rifle I've ever shot. It did give me a scope scar the first time I shot it, zeroing it in. I'd give an arm and leg to have that rifle back.

What I loved about the caliber is it didn't kick like the M1 or the M98. It just pushed back like a black powder does yet down range it delivered all of the power you could want. Sorry youlot it. Mike

Tug, being a girl wouldn't have been an excuse to preclude you. You get up early and you are with us. Hell, the fact that the girls out fished and sometimes out shot us didn't bother us one bit. We were all in it for the day and the fun. We weren't having sex, flirting yes, we weren't doing drugs or drinking, we were just living. We were lower middle class , beach, water community and enjoyed what we had. Swimming, fishing, crabbing clamming, you name it, we did it. Mike

That's ok. I know it's in good hands.

Dude, I won't even do a 3.5. My son in law can take a lot of recoil and he isn't shooting 3.5 in his Mossberg any more. I do shoot 3" #1 buck. It seems to pattern really good out of my 30 year old Mossberg 500. I credit that gun and not me for at least 150 deer in the last 25 years. I still carry the shotgun into the woods with me but I'm no longer a shooter. I'm not going to shoot what I can't d**g out. Just me. Mike

Tug, what your dad said reminds me of all the gun grabbers.
Damn gun, nothing to do with any gun.
