C*******t-run Media Won’t Talk About Sharp Rise in I*****l A***n Crime

In an instructive op-ed for Fox News this week, Heritage Foundation expert Hans von Spakovsky lamented the fact that the liberal media, through layers of fiction and obfuscation, was refusing to confront the rise in crime committed by i*****l i*******ts. Working off the unfortunate decision by a California appeals court to overturn the conviction of the i*****l a***n to shot and k**led Kate Steinle in San Francisco, von Spakovsky said that while liberals like to claim that i*****l i*******ts commit crime at no higher rates than citizens, that statistic is not quite the whole t***h.

“Non-citizens constitute only about 7 percent of the U.S. population. Yet the latest data from the Justice Department’s Bureau of Justice Statistics reveals that non-citizens accounted for nearly two-thirds (64 percent) of all federal arrests in 2018. Just two decades earlier, only 37 percent of all federal arrests were non-citizens,” he writes.

“These arrests aren’t just for immigration crimes,” von Spakovsky continues. “Non-citizens accounted for 24 percent of all federal drug arrests, 25 percent of all federal property arrests, and 28 percent of all federal fraud arrests. In 2018, a quarter of all federal drug arrests took place in the five judicial districts along the U.S.-Mexico border. This reflects the ongoing activities of Mexican drug cartels. Last year, Mexican citizens accounted for 40 percent of all federal arrests. In fact, more Mexicans than U.S. citizens were arrested on charges of committing federal crimes in 2018.”

Oh well, it’s just on the federal level, right? To carry that over to all crimes would be to do the same kind of “play with the facts” nonsense that the left is so often guilty of.
Ah, but von Spakovsky explains that there is much more to i*****l i*******t crime than what can be gleaned from federal statistics.

“A recent report from the Texas Department of Public Safety revealed that 297,000 non-citizens had been ‘booked into local Texas jails between June 1, 2011, and July 31, 2019.’ So these are non-citizens who allegedly committed local crimes, not immigration violations,” he writes. “The report noted that a little more than two-thirds (202,000) of those booked in Texas jails were later confirmed as i*****l i*******ts by the federal government.”

We’re not just talking about drug busts, either. We’re talking about homicides, assaults, burglaries, kidnappings, and thefts.

I*****l i*******t crime is on the rise, and instead of addressing it, states and cities are adopting dangerous sanctuary policies to protect these very criminals from deportation. It’s time for Americans to stand up for OUR rights to be safe from criminals who don’t belong in this country in the first place.

The sharp rise? I thought Trump was using ICE to deport all those nasty lawbreakers? Isn't he doing his job? Do we need a new president before 2020?

Why you know that they couldn't admit that trump policies are not working.

After all, what would fox propaganda and other assorted rightwing media have to fill in their daily programming?

I live in l.a.
in the last six months our parking lot has a break in almost every week. A band of homeless i******s living in cars watch our lot while drinking beer all say.

They even steal windshield wipers. But I do not see any articles in the L.A. times about that.
