at the Hypocrite awards, elected representatives everywhere will face stiff competition from liar-in-false-turban Ilhan Omar.

yes that same Omar who has been squadding on American television dissing Israel and shaming everyone who gets in gets in her way with pious rhetoric.

Apparently the turban is a fashion accessory and not the nod to Islam that we all thought. the microphone as incipient-mania-baiting inducement to immoral and possibly illegal personal behavior has movie of the week written all over it.

Why did this portion of the country feel it necessary to send a bed-hopping, Pro-Palestinian homewrecker into Congress?

Yeah, shes a little.......unusual. I've listened to a lot of what she says. Every now and then she makes sense. But most of it is nonsense. To me, tho, her most telling tactic is that she simply refuses to debate her ideas or ever explain herself. That's sheer arrogance, IMO.

Here is the thing to remember, Omar received 78% of the v**e in her district and is widely supported by the people who sent her to congress. In comparison the Cheeto faced S**tgibbon received only 46.1% of the popular v**e and was swamped by Hillary Clinton. He is in office strictly due to Putins interference to manipulate the e*******l college. Her support of Palestinians living under an apartheid system is commendable.

Wait a minute! Is this the same Somalia-born Ilhan Omar, who was allowed to wear her stupid turban while Congress was in session, because she got a special dispensation for her head covering, for the first time in the history of the country, based solely on her claim of being a devout muslim? That Ilhan Omar?

Then she should surely know that muslim women who are caught in adulterous relations are to be stoned to death according to her prophet, Muhammed. It's right there in her Quoran.

As an aside, the only reason that she was able to be elected was because Obama imported hoards of unvetted immigrants from the Middle East into her district. Certain areas of Dearborn Michigan, as well as certain areas of Minnesota already have no-go zones where police don't patrol because the muslim populations have made it too dangerous.

Those POS muslims imports from sh*thole countries want it both ways. They want to take advantage of our western freedoms, while at the same time getting special dispensations because they're muslims.

Are you suggesting Doctor Mynett is just an "irate right wing screamer?" For all I know she could be a Democrat.

I never said Obama 'forced' the hoards of unvetted Somali refugees to live in those communities. I said Obama simply resettled those POSs there.

Sure those Somali immigrants have started businesses there. I've seen them in a documentary. The businesses have signs in Arabic, which no American can understand and they cater strictly to Muslims. Period. In the documentary, the lifelong resident of that community took viewers through a tour of the business district. He said he never goes to those areas anymore. So much for those POSs contributing to America. They have no intention of assimilating, adopting American values, or fitting in.

I never said anything about Omar not talking. You're confusing my post with what's being posted in the media about her refusing to talk.

If she's prosecuted and deported, maybe the community will elect a Somali who sees the benefits of the American ways. Someone who won't try to hold onto muslim ways (eg. covering their hair with a turban), while taking full advantages of our American freedoms. They can't have it both ways.

However, the post is wrong on multiple levels.

Did Obama settle 43,000 Somali refugees in Minnesota?
For refugee resettlement figures on Obama’s watch, we turned to an interactive website from the Refugee Processing Center that provides data going back to 2002.

As it turns out, 6,320 refugees from Somalia were resettled in Minnesota between 2009 and 2017, when Obama served as president. That’s about one-seventh of the amount claimed in the meme.

That’s fewer than the number settled in Minnesota during the final seven years of the George W. Bush presidency. From 2002 to 2008, the government resettled 9,858 Somalis in Minnesota.

During the Obama years, 54,514 Somali refugees were resettled nationally, meaning that Minnesota accounted for about 11.5 percent of the national total.

During the Bush years, the national total was 46,439, making Minnesota’s share higher under Bush than it was under Obama, at 21.2 percent.

Did Omar win because of Somali-American v**es?
Omar won the Democratic nomination with 65,237 v**es, which was 24,081 v**es ahead of her closest competitor. (In such a strongly Democratic district, the Republican nominee ended up losing to Omar, 78 percent to 22 percent.)

So was the Somali-American e*****rate in the district the main reason she won the all-important primary? We don’t have exact figures, but we were able to reverse-engineer some answers.

According to the refugee resettlement data, we found that the major jurisdictions of the 5th district -- mainly Minneapolis, but a few others as well -- received roughly half of the Somali refugees who were resettled in the state under both Bush and Obama.

If we use the high end of the Census Bureau’s statewide estimate for Somali Americans in Minnesota -- 55,200 -- then this means the 5th district was probably home to about 27,600 Somali Americans.

So, Omar won more than 65,000 primary v**es in a district that likely had about 27,600 Somali-Americans. This means she had to have won tens of thousands of v**es from non-Somalis.

And even this probably overstates the impact of Somali-American v**ers.

Not all of the 27,600 Somalis in the district are able to v**e, since Minnesota’s Somali population skews young.

In addition, even those who were eligible to v**e may not have turned out at the polls. The district as a whole saw only 18.8 percent of the population turn out to v**e in the primary. If the district’s Somali population turned out at that rate, no more than about 5,000 Somali v**ers would have cast a primary b****t.

And 5,000 v**es would have been less than one-tenth of Omar’s primary v**e total, and only about one-fifth of her margin of victory.

Our ruling
The v***l image said, "Obama settled 43,000 Somalian refugees in Minnesota. As of 2016, there were around 80,000. No wonder Ilhan Omar was elected. It was planned."

The meme significantly overstates the number of Somali refugees settled under Obama in Minnesota, the total number of Somali refugees in the state, and the impact that Somali v**ers could have had on the primary e******n results, much less the lopsided general e******n. In no way can Omar’s victory have been "planned," by Obama or anyone else.
