Words cannot explain how screwed up our legal system has become.
My sympathies and prayers go out to the Steinle family.
As I read and hear news stories about California, the more I associate it with the tale of Sodom and Gomarrah. There may not be any pillars of salt in it's future, but a Cascadia Subduction zone event may result in the same final outcome.

But between the s**it filled streets, sanctuary city mentality, lack of cooperation with ICE, Hollywood elite, Silicon Valley elite, the Progressive politicians that California elects (Pelosi, Schumer, Feinstein, et al), progressive (i.e. non-existent) v**er id laws, and on and on. But between the s**it filled streets, sanctuary city mentality, lack of cooperation with ICE, Hollywood elite, Silicon Valley elite, the Progressive politicians that California elects (Pelosi, Schumer, Feinstein, et al), progressive (i.e. non-existent) v**er id laws, and on and on. Perhaps it's just the musings of a fertile imagination.

What's the common denominator? Lawyers. Lawyers write laws, lawyers find ways around those laws, lawyers try to find those who break those laws, then lawyers find ways to excuse the breaking of those laws.
Examine your day to day life and try to find something that does not involve lawyers.
