For eight years, former President Barack Obama was the biggest name in Democrat politics.
He was the clear leader of the Democrat Party.
But now he might leave the Democrat Party after the unthinkable happened.
In 2008, Barack Obama came out of nowhere, only to completely dominate the Democrat Party.
As a half black man who is able to rile up a crowd, he was easily able to dominate the rest of the comparatively boring candidates in the field.
But after eight years of destroying America, his legacy is clearly in doubt.
Even other Democrats realize that most of America is against Obama and his insane agenda.
So it has been unsurprising to see many Democrats vying for the p**********l nomination in 2020 speaking against the former President.
In recent weeks, many candidates have been putting him into the spotlight.
But oddly enough, the majority of their criticism has been with Obama not being extreme enough.
One of the big criticisms has been his infamous “Obamacare” law, which many Democrats now oppose due to the fact that it is not outright socialism.
And Democrats are also upset that he presided over a government that did not support open borders.
For decades, Democrats have been somewhat reasonable when it comes to i*****l i*********n.
They realized that there was a need for a border.
But since the e******n of Donald Trump, they have completely shifted, and they now oppose all laws opposing i*****l i*********n.
That creates a major problem for Barack Obama, who is now facing criticism for border policies his Administration put into effect.
And it isn’t the only problem he is facing.
In recent days, Democrats have been pointing out the fact that it has been five years since the death of Michael Brown, a black male who was k**led after trying to assault a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri.
Major Democrats vying for the presidency have been tweeting about it.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren started things off, tweeting:
“5 years ago Michael Brown was murdered by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri. Michael was unarmed yet he was shot 6 times. I stand with activists and organizers who continue the fight for justice for Michael. We must confront s******c r****m and police violence head on.”
Along with Warren, p**********l candidate Kamala Harris tweeted:
“Michael Brown’s murder forever changed Ferguson and America. His tragic death sparked a desperately needed conversation and a nationwide movement. We must fight for stronger accountability and racial equity in our justice system.”
Both candidates ignore the fact that the officer involved was found innocent of any wrongdoing.
And in their statements, they are going after Obama, who was in the position they are hoping to take over, come 2020.
Many high-level Democrats are speaking out against these attacks on Obama.
“Stay away from Barack Obama,” advised Steve Elmendorf, a well-known Democratic lobbyist who worked on John Kerry’s 2004 p**********l campaign.
“I don’t know why you would attack Barack Obama or his record or any part of him when he’s the most popular person in the party,” he added. “And I don’t think it helps for the general e******n v**ers, either. I don’t know what they’re thinking.”
Elmendorf may be right, considering the fact that it is Joe Biden leading the polls in the race for president.
And he is basing his entire campaign on his connection to Barack Obama.
But there is no telling if that will actually help him if he faces Donald Trump head-on.
