Yes You are right!.. My family is in Grant, Fl... they were battening down the hatches.. putting stuff up off the floor in the house, all the obvious stuff you'd do with a hurricane comin on, but I do believe they hightailed it outta there sometime today...or Latest tomorrow, though when I spoke to my mom, she was aimin for leavin out today.. Before, (Hopefully) the highways start gettin backed up!... That and it takes a bit of time to get my pop situated, he's on 24/7 oxygen.. so 02 bottles are needed!... I just am praying for Everyone in Florida right now... May God be with you and keep you safe!

It's so very sad to think that there are people in this world who have such hatred in their hearts... hatred that would so horribly impact innocent people; especially more so when that hatred comes from former and current Government Officials! She probably thinks that the hurricane is all President Trump's fault, like they feel everything else is. As if President Trump conjured up a hurricane! When will all this nonsense stop?! As for me, I pray to God that everyone in Florida will be safe this weekend.

I like the way that Trump knows that he's in charge, he's calm about it, very funny, and refreshing as a leader. Contrast that with the stiff, pompous, supercilious style of Obama, who really didn't understand what he was reading off the teleprompter.

What's obvious, how about water? Most people will be fine without eating for a week put no water? Home is a bad spot right now, at least I'm on the west coast.

Well of course water.. supplies enough to hold up somewhere for a few days if necessary, My mom usually has a couple cases of bottled water... when I said obvious, I meant regarding battening down the hatches boarding windows....and get gone.. That may be the only Good thing about a hurrican is the notice it's comin, vs an earth quake.. not much warning there... I hope you & yours will be safe. I lived in cape coral, sarasota.. worked in ft. meyers... from 88-91
