If anyone with an intelligent mind were to really think about it and if C*****e C****e was real why would anyone who really believed in it be OK with the idea that a person could just pay some sort of fine or credit to be allowed to travel utilizing cars, boats, planes , trains and anything beyond a horse and carriage? It is nothing more than the HUGEST S**M PERPETUATED ON THE PEOPLE OF THIS WORLD! WHY? Well that and EVERY prediction made by climate alarmists has proven to be WRONG. I notice the alarmists have started predicting on a 50 year or more scale now, rather than 10 or 20. I believe that c*****e c****e is real. I don't believe man has very much, (maybe a small amount,) to do with it...and there is nothing that can be done to stop any of it. Legitimate scientists say the sun is the main determiner of c*****e c****e, along with other acts of nature, which man has no control over, either to stop or to fix. And redistributing wealth doesn't do anything to affect the climate

IMHO: C*****e c****e is real. It is a cyclical function due to our relationship with the sun and it has been going on since the planet formed. It is still going on. If you are interested, read "Dark Winter" by John Casey. Casey explains the mechanics of it quite well, and presents some historical graphs to show it. My physics education doesn't buy into the s**m, and you have some good points that I agree with.

Now, as far as the "s**m" goes, it erroneously assumes that humans are the cause of c*****e c****e. Their "scientists" used flawed computer models to present their cases. An awful lot of real scientists disagree with the g****l w*****g group of Al Gore. The actual cycle is about 200 years long, and has another cyclic eleven year sunspot activity within this 200 year cycle. The 200 year cycle is the average of the eleven year cycles. The sun is our basic source of energy. The tilt of the Earth's axis and our orbit around the sun causes our seasonal weather changes, but these seasonal changes are not the changes we talk about as c*****e c****es. Al Gores "G****l W*****g" peaked out between 2005 and 2008 and we are now on the downward slope of the cycle heading toward Climate Cooling, but good old Al is still spouting about g****l w*****g, and doesn't show much concern about the carbon footprint of his big jet airliner that flies him around.

The s**m is promoting the idea that humans are causing it and the idea that we humans can do something about it. We can't, however, that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to cut down on the things that muck up our breathing air and all that if we can, but we don't need to be placed in a "crisis" mode and get all upset. Cooler heads should and likely will prevail. After all, plants inhale carbon dioxide that we exhale, and these same plants exhale oxygen for us to inhale, which is what I consider a fair trade.

The s**m was generated to fleece the public out of their money by valiantly trying to stop something Mother Nature is doing, and most of us know that Mother Nature pretty much does wh**ever she pleases. It is our job not to stop c*****e c****e, but learn to adapt to it, lest we follow the dinosaurs into extinction.

It is probably going to get pretty cold in the next couple or three decades, kind of like the mini ice age of the mid 1800s, which is nearing 200 years ago. We may come up short of food during the cold spell because the growing season will be shorter and the growing climate will move toward the equator. Couple this with our increased population and it points to famine at times, which could lead to violence due to hungry people trying to feed their starving families. Also, if you're a younger person, you might want acquire a rifle or shotgun, some ammo, and some weapons training if you haven't done so in order to protect your supplies and hunt small game for food, and also hang on to or accumulate some long underwear, winter clothing, and a heavy coat to handle this coming "Dark Winter." Extra ammo could also be used to trade for food or other items you may need. Be prepared. Good luck, Mike.

We have been in an Interglacial Period for the last 10,000 years and should go back into a Glacial Period in about another 10,000 years. The Oceans rise and fall... if Antarctica melted it would raise the oceans about 250 ft. President hopeful Andrew Yang was correct during the last debate when he said it was "Time for Americans to start moving to higher ground."

The New Green Deal and the United States adopting it is going to make the "American economy 100 percent f****l f**l free" and will have no real effect. When the Dims said it was all about the Benjamins they were correct.

Maybe a world wide effort to stop all use of carbon based fuels (and plastics made from oil) might help a bit... but in reality. AOC's deal would destroy the US economy and send this country into total collapse... while giving the real polluters a free pass.
