CAIR Touts Partnership with Census Bureau

By: Steve Emerson

IPT News

Federal law enforcement knows enough about the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to order its agents not to engage with the group outside of criminal investigations. But despite that, the U.S. Census Bureau believes the conservative, Sunni-dominated Islamist organization is a trustworthy organization to partner with in next year's national population count.

"CAIR is proud to partner with the U.S. Census Bureau to ensure American Muslims are fairly and accurately counted in the 2020 Census," Executive Director Nihad Awad said in a CAIR news release. "Full participation in the census ensures that American Muslims will be better represented in Congress and that their communities receive an equal share in state and federal programs."

It isn't clear what CAIR or the Census Bureau will do as part of the partnership. The statement indicated CAIR will promote participation in the Census and advise people how to avoid s**ms. The Census Bureau did not respond to a request for comment.

"CAIR wants to ensure that that not only are American Muslim communities being fairly counted – but that their neighborhoods are getting a fair share in federal and state funding," the CAIR release said.

Internal documents seized by the FBI show that CAIR and its founders, Omar Ahmad and Nihad Awad, were deeply involved in a Hamas-support network in America created by the Muslim Brotherhood. A committee report described the group's mission as "defending the Islamic cause in Palestine and support for the emerging movement, the Hamas Movement."

Both Ahmad and Awad appear on the "Palestine Committee" telephone list (Ahmad is listed as "Omar Yehya"), and CAIR is listed on a meeting agenda which named the committee's branches.

"[U]ntil we can resolve whether there continues to be a connection between CAIR or its executives and HAMAS," a senior FBI official wrote in 2009, "the FBI does not view CAIR as an appropriate liaison partner."

The policy remains in effect a decade later. The FBI's conclusion was shared by federal prosecutors and a U.S. District Court judge who reviewed the evidence.

Records seized by the FBI "do create at least a prima facie case as to CAIR's involvement in a conspiracy to support Hamas," U.S. District Court Judge Jorge Solis wrote in 2009.

"CAIR," prosecutors wrote, "has been identified by the Government at trial as a participant in an ongoing and ultimately unlawful conspiracy to support a designated terrorist organization, a conspiracy from which CAIR never withdrew."

CAIR has never acknowledged its Palestine Committee connections or tried to argue that it moved away from that support. Its leaders refuse to condemn Hamas, often angrily. Awad continues to promote anti-Israel rhetoric, as in 2014, calling the Jewish state "the biggest threat to world peace and security."

any one in our government who would partner with a muslime group or organization should be removed from office and denied employment in any local , county . state or federal agency !

Sorry, but I do not trust CAIR at all! I do realize that there may be some Muslims who are moderate and who are not into all the terrorist stuff... and who may just want to live in peace, but it is highly unnerving that they do not speak out against those others who are Judaophobic and Christophobic, like Omar and Tlaib are. Such people despise America and are not true representatives of our country. If this statement is offensive to Muslims, I have only one thing only to say to that, which is:

"9/11 OFFENDED ME!!!"

Yeah, according to Ilhan Omar, "Some people did something!!!" I found that statement alone to be very disrespectful and dismissive of the biggest foreign attack on our country since Pearl Harbor. To his day I find it very suspicious that suicide terrorists could have been trained in this country to fly jetliners, let alone hijack them and crash them into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and one jetliner into a field in Pennsylvania, k*****g over 3,000 innocent Americans in the towers and on the ground in the process! A coordinated attack if ever there was one! Who was behind that?! What has CAIR said or done about it that would offer solace to the families of the victims?? CAIR is known to be associated with terrorist organizations and it should be run out of this country. It's apparent by the article that it only "Cairs" about the Muslim population and not the rest of the United States Citizens. CAIR should not have any influence whatsoever in our bona-fide government agencies, especially if it has ties to terrorist organizations!!

These Muslim people are more concerned about how much they could suck the federal taxpayers of funding to advance their own agenda. They don't care how much in return they have provided the government and the whole country, any valuable contributions, but more of destruction they create.

It is about me, me, me. They celebrated and partied during he 9/11 terrorist attack, leaving pains and horrors the American people suffered. (Anniversary is coming soon.) Not one of them condemn the attack.
Yet, all they do is count how much benefits and goodies they could get. Make more babies cause your men marry several wives so that your people increase fast to overpopulate us, to take over.

CAIR became very active during the Obama administration, where he placed several Muslims to very high positions. There were 6 Muslims in the p**********l advisory board, without Congress approval. His top adviser was Valerie Jarrett, and the CIA director was Brennan, a Muslim convert. Brennan was the mastermind on the Deep State h**x against president Trump.

Mr. Obama had also required Islam, his religion of peace, subject be taught in public schools in the guise of history. While he removed the Christians and any materials that invoked Christian faith. Obama donated so much federal money to the Muslim countries. Most of the funds came from the Stimulus program of $850 billion to rebuild our broken economy. He built and rebuilt Mosques instead all over the world.

Why would the Census Bureau need to partner with anyone? But it definitely should not be CAIR or anyone Muslim. For such a small miniority, these people have acquired enormous power in our country, WITH THE HELP of so many American leaders. Unbelievable!
