Whoa, this is a big deal, this was not some frivolous sloppy thing that relied on rhetoric and BS... this was the real deal and it sent a formal warning to the supreme court, watch your step with partisan legislation and stick to the law as it is written. No more drifts toward your personal views and how you'd like them to be. They literally said the supreme court is sick, heal thyself or be healed.

It was centered around the 2nd amendment and undue influence by the NRA into links with dark money influence and the federalist society, and their expectation that they have friendly faces on the bench because they have put friendly faces on the bench. It cited cases where Scotus has arrived at 5/4 rulings that favor the conservative view and drifted from the clear window of the law despite lower courts not having any conflict with their courts.

The point that is being made is that public confidence in the court is low, a majority clearly thinks the courts are operating on political bias more than the law. I will point out that even Trump has made public statements that would clearly indicate that he has a clearly conservative court that will support his views. This is disturbing when lower courts prevail on violations of the constitution, an appeals court supports that ruling, and the Trump and the right believe lower courts will be overturned in favor of the conservative challenge.

If you can't see that the author of this read the whole amicus brief and highlighted important parts, read it for yourself, but this is real, not f**e news because it was published on KOS.

This has been posted before this is not new news at all. Just five pissed off democrat senators who want to get more liberal rulings back again like when Obama was president is all and so they threatened the SCOTUS us all. If a democrat wins the white house they will stack the deck the other way is what they are saying. Even if they have to go to an eleven member supreme court.

You don't think people have the opinion the supreme court is biased? I know for a fact the right thinks there is a liberal side and a conservative side that rules accordingly. This is a point I have made for a long time, the law gets lost in judges that rule according to the side they represent.

If you took the time to read something like this you would see that it addresses points of law.

The point that is being made to scotus is that they need to stop overturning multiple lower court decisions that are based on law with dissenting rulings that are questionable and biased in a conservatively conflicted manner.

But democrats don't care when the situation is reversed. Of course they don't because they're hypocrites. They appoint activist judges who make plenty of i***tic rulings based on feelings and emotion, not law. But for democrats that's okay.

You never recognize the overt bias of liberals. Ever. That is why you are not taken seriously. They're all biased - conservative and liberal. Like it or not thats the way it is. Liberals aren't any better at following the law or for that matter the Constitution.
