Legalizing gay marriage is a mistake

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou has rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Hosea 4:6
Men should know actions have consequences. There will be consequences to letting grown men wearing wigs and dresses read stories to children in libraries and public schools. This is disgusting and needs to stop.We will reap what we sow. Men should not have sex with men. Nature should teach us. There are no same sex relationships in any species of life, other than humans. Some lying perverts say that there are, but it is not possible. The anus doesn’t lube itself. Anal sex without lube is painful. With normal people, 4% of them commit suicide. With the LGBT community, 40% of them commit suicide. The best environment in which to raise children, is with the people that made them. We have cheapened institutions that have the backbone of societies for thousands of years, to please a few perverts.

Will a true Christian marry a same sex person? No. Will a true Christian in Ancient Rome adore Caesar as a god? No. Did Christians then protest against Caesar's god status? No. Did they dutifully pay taxes for all the malfeasance and misfeasance of the Roman Empire? Yes. Both Jesus and Paul pretty much said ignore it and do your duty as a citizen. You cannot legislate against sin and make any difference. What Jewish Law was meant to teach us is forbidding something makes it far more inviting, a prize. It actually encourages wrong or sinful behavior.

So what to do? Say nothing? Make no ruling? Just ignore the sin and chaos produced? Of course not. Making laws will not change anything and probably exacerbate the problem. The alternative is to lovingly embrace, not judge, these people. Do not expel or block them from being part of the congregation.

Don’t do anything from selfish ambition or from a cheap desire to boast, but be humble toward one another, always considering others better than yourselves. (Philippians 2:3)

Respect everyone, love other believers, honor God, and respect the Emperor. (1 Peter 2:17)

“Respect your father and mother” is the first commandment that has a promise added: “so that all may go well with you, and you may live a long time in the land.” (Ephesians 6:2-3)

Just do as I do; I try to please everyone in all that I do, not thinking of my own good, but of the good of all, so that they might be saved. (1 Corinthians 10:33)

Personally, I take exception to all my verses evidence, yet that is The Word.

In this country we have separation of church and state. You are welcome to think whatever you like, believe whatever you like, but ones sexual orientation is no one's business but their own. If you don't like that then read to your children yourself and the problem is solved. As for suicide statistic on the gay community being as high as 40%, I would love to see where you got that as it sounds as overblown as your rhetoric in general...

Rumi,

You said "You cannot legislate against sin ". But is it true the progressive leftist are Legislating "For Sin"?
Since you bring up Jesus, who said " You can not serve two master's "? I disagree with "Ignore".

I can see that stat on suicide by the gay community as true. As much as we may like to think the problem is solved by the seemingly wide spread acceptance of being gay, LBGTX, but do not see it.

Too freaking long a lie....

Bingo! fredlott63’s post is entitled ‘legalizing gay marriage was a mistake.’
It’s not a matter of prohibiting something, or legislating against sin. It’s a matter of giving a vile and abominable practice of sodomy, equal footing with the sacred and time honored tradition of recognizing a married male and female couple, the foundation of a family into which children are naturally procreated as a result of that sexual union between male and female.
And to address the argument that prohibiting something alone makes it more attractive - I would simply ask the following of men: how many of, in recalling the exact sensation of defecating, would enjoy the thought that instead of solid waste being excreted, the sensation was actually caused another man’s penis? Revolting!
That alone should put to rest the fallacious argument that prohibiting something makes it more attractive.
The pathology of sodomy is beyond sick, and demented.
Prohibiting it is vastly different than simply not legalizing it.
In simply removing criminal penalties against sodomy between consenting adults, as the SCOTUS did in the last 2 decades, in a Texas case the court refused to prohibit it any longer.
But in legalizing it, as it did in Obama’s last term, the court elevated the status of unrepentant sodomites with that of honorably married males.
That decision will go down as one of the worst decisions in SCOTUS history.

I agree that one's sexual orientation is no one else's business. However, it becomes everyone's business when they force others to accept their aberrant behavior, demand special privileges and go after children.

Great summary,
I would add that the Supreme court liberal judges falsely used the ( if memory serves the 15th (?) AMENDMENT written for freed slaves and they grossly twisted the meaning in order to fulfill a very dark and evil agenda of the Obama administration with intent to tear apart the God given foundations of America and also at the same time began a campaign to demonize bible believing New Testament Christians.
I would add that demonic forces gained a stronghold in the left party. But we know who wins in the end, those of us that know the biblical times we live in.

Let's correct your assumption regarding separation of church and state. You happen to be looking through the wrong end of the telescope. It was intention of the Founders to insure the State kept their rump scratching fingers out of religion. You atheists have made serious inroads in corrupting the constitution and this is but one example.

Feisty? Could it be because they give generic Viagra three times a day? True story but hard to explain to anyone without their big grin. Has something to do with my lungs. Leaving rehab in the morning. These folks here at Encompass are absolutely amazing.

Could you point out our national state church to me? I've never been able to locate it. If there isn't a state-sponsored church there is no separation required.
