Remember that? The American populace as a whole was informed. There has been so many instances of what problems this could and has caused. BUT OOOH NOOOOO! Those of that had the ability to for see the impending problems with all of this was and were shut down because OF MUH FEELINGS! FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELINGS! Well your FEELINGS DO NOT AND WILL NEVER EVER OUT WAY FACTS!!!! If this was a perfect world with perfect people then we could talk. But until this happens then reality of facts will have to suffice regardless of FEEEEEEEEELINGS. I will say that what the heck has been going on in this country due to PROGRESSIVE/REGRESSIVE THOUGHT AND PREVIOUS POLICIES have put our country into the greatest danger than ever before and I'm truly fricken pissed off about it. This is just one of, oh I don't know thousands of videos from around the world that proves that all of the Political Correctness and Progressive Ideology has done nothing PROGRESSIVE AT ALL!!!!.

Nobody here has an issue with LEGAL immigration!!.. Would be great if these folks came in the Front door of this country and Not the Back door, with their hands out!..And Have some kind of legitimate sk**l so they are Not a Tax on OUR economy or have the finances to live w/out benefit of benefits! Not just those from Mexico.. but from anywhere!!.. be they here on an expired work visa, school visa, visitor visa!.. People who over stay their visa's are also here illegally..

For Example: Mexico's policy is you can Not OWN land but lease it, you can not be a drain on their economy!..you have to have enough money to live on as you will not be eligible for any aid!.. I just had a british friend move there to retire.. My folks traveled all over Mexico, when my dad retired, took my baby sister Out of school and home schooled her on the road.

Yes, I can see your point and agree in part. My family snuck into the US from Canada, dead broke and hungry. Potato farmers and the crops failed. Under present ideas and Trump policies, not worth letting them in. Almost all my cousins around my age, about twenty-five of them, graduated college and were inspiring people and productive, tax-paying members of America. Today, that possibility has ended with the president's anti-immigrant policy. Nationalism, America first, means accepting a diversity of immigrants to keep this country fresh and vibrant to compete in the world and offer new solutions to any problems. That is how it has worked successfully for over 200 years.

I love things like this; the melting pot as was explained to me as a child was that people were coming to America to become Americans Unlike today where it seams people are coming to change America . Also what is a phobia other than an irrational fear of something . Is it irrational to fear a culture or a person who has no intention of ever adopting your belief system or culture ? I can appreciate that, with your family, also keep in mind, things are a Helluva lot different today...muslim enclaves...shiria law...this stuff we didn't have to contend with because we and the british had been kickin their asses back to the stone age, and had been since..My grandmother, maternal side, came from ireland.. guess what... they went through ellis island...I think it's great that your family came here and assimilated, Became Americans, the Major problem is that those coming here illegally most of them do not want to assimilate, can't due to some muslim law that dictates they can't give fealty to anyone other than Mohammad... Nor has their view point changed at ALL...I say that "moderate muslims" need to step up and denounce their more extreme brethren!.. if there Really is such a thing, In the Long run as a "moderate muslim", Mexicans in this country still feel the US stole California from them and they are here to get it back... so I've been told by a couple mexican friends from long ago... So far, near as I can tell they came to change this country, not assimilate!.. All I can say for the immigration process is that People coming in here need to be vetted!.. in a Serious way, this isn't like when our ancestors came over here from where ever..

As an aside, the KKK, run by dixie crats didn't only persecute black people, they also went after the Irish!!.. "Taking jobs from Americans" for the same reasons we have today... They will work for extrodinarily low wages compared to Americans.. my grandmother told me of this.. as well as other irish immigrants... There was voluntary s***ery, by way of indentureship.. sell one's self into s***ery in order to get to America....When you got to who ever was "sponsoring you" you got one pair of shoes, a shirt, pants, undergarmets...if you got sick the doctor visit added time to your indentureship.. if you had kids and you died, then your kids finished your indentureship... all this to get to America.. where you had the Right to Pursue happiness, NOT guaranteed happiness or prosperity for that matter, all a person is afforded... being citizen or immigrant is the right to pursue it.. there was Never a guarantee..oh and please note that immigrants even back then had to have a sponsor here in the states, although not real sure how that went unless it was much like a s***e auction... Maybe, there could be a way if those coming here did much the same, indentured themselves to a business or a personal sponser only the indentureship wouldn't be a lifelong sentence, but rather more like an apprenticeship..with pay! a roof, food, and pay in exchange they work to become citizens...go through all the exams, learn english if they don't know it, and actually assimilate, adopt OUR country as their own w/out trying to change it in to the s**t hole they just left, if that be the case... Also, the sponsor would be completely responsible for said immigrant, all the way down to and including, the commision of a crime...

Muslims aren't a race, they are an ideology.. I fear them, I fear anyone that says they will k**l me if I don't convert to islam..I fear anyone in this country that doesn't assimilate! and that crams their way of life down my throat!!.. I very seriously doubt that other countries really take kindly to someone moving to their country then bashing their gov't and stir s**t, that's called s******n!.. immigrants from Anywhere need to be vetted and checked out for any possible diseases that we here in the US have erradicated.. doesn't matter where you came from.. just bc you came here doesn't mean that By your coming here, your not endangering people,..Legal immigrants I do believe have a quaranteen period, to make sure they are all good to come into this country.... During the Civil War, some of the Irish in New York City acted totally abominably. Poor B****s were willing to work almost at any wage; this undercut the second lowest ring of society at that time, the papist Irish. They r**ted and k**led many B****s, including burning an orphanage.

It was a different world back then, it appears. I don't know how else to explain it. The first thing these big influxes of other nations did was to learn our language and ways. Proud and happy to have the opportunity to be Americans. The idea of such a place of freedom and opportunity for all no matter where they came from or who they were, was revered then. A promise so grand and endearing it was beyond comprehension. The immigrants at that time would do practically anything to be Americans, to live here as citizens. No longer true...and why not?

With Mexico and other south american countries, no clue really... with the middle easteners here, well again, according to the law of islam they can't swear fealty to another sovereign country.. their loyaty is to islam at any cost.. To me, it's honestly not a race factor.. it's a the idea that we don't accept people that want to k**l us, and again if "moderate muslims" would speak up maybe some of the fear in the American people feel could be lessoned, however it is my "opinion" that those "moderate muslims" may still have family in those countries and so therefore are afraid of what could happen to their families should they rebel from the "orthodox"OR more accurately "Extremist Muslims"
