Why Do People Who Support Trump Think It's A Betrayal To Criticize Him?

I'm not sure people realize how stupid it makes people look to blindly support truly ridiculous policies. Ignoring and acting like you have nothing to say makes a person look just as bad.

A leader needs and should have feedback from those who support them so as to have a necessary guidance. One of the problems with this president is that he rejects any opinion besides those that agree with him, and has proven that he will turn on those who don't agree with him.

Perhaps the most necessary and strongest trait a president could have would be to listen to the advice of those around him, rather than search for those who will agree with everything he says.

Valid criticism is ok, but h**e is not. Neither is hoping for something bad to happen in America just so you can blame Trump. Neither is getting up everyday to search liberal sites hunting for something to complain about. Do not insult my intelligence by saying there are not people who h**e him, wish for bad to blame on him, and search everyday for something to complain about.

I don't see even any valid criticism...for instance, what is your honest opinion about rolling back pollution standards on the auto industry? Are you following the debate in terms of the reasons for and against it?

It does mean that if you think a policy isn't very well thought out you should say so, how could anyone truly think everything Trump has done is the smartest most brilliant thing ever?

Excuse me! But you libs went BALLISTIC when Brarack Obama was criticized as you blindly followed him, so what makes you think that Trump supporters aren't and can't be as passionate? I suggest that people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Put your rocks in your pocket and live with it. That's the way of the world.

I criticize Trump a lot, to me nobody is perfect. A valid criticism he does take some things too far but you and your crowd take them farther making them moot. Or another is he really shouldn't have quit the trip to Denmark just because his plans were ruined, there is still democracy to think about.

My point was that the right sees it as a betrayal to weigh in on any given thing that is disturbing or wrong. It's either defend or ignore.

I weighed into a number of issues I thought dems were handling terribly poorly, it is not a betrayal of party to taklk about what your party is doing wrong. Trump would stop doing some of the things he does if his base let the party know they do not approve.

Actually they did, there was a constant criticism of policy issues, and because the left is open to it we are listening to the deeper reasons why things are not right.

I actually place a lot of the blame for a dysfunctional government on the GOP when they controlled the house and senate. Now the house is passing hundreds of bills and we are seeing a direct cause in Mitch McConnell refusing to let the senate v**e on bipartisan bills. The disturbing part is that people seem to be so ignorant they aren't willing to step out and criticize Moscow Mitch and the senate.

Valid criticism is disagreed with by Trumpies but not thought of as betrayal. Calling the President we wholeheartedly support a w***e s*********t, Hitler, a N**i, a rapist, mentally ill, a moron, etc. is beyond the pale and will elicit condemnation.
