It doesn't, another president I thing FDR, but I'm probably very wrong wanted to buy it too. So this isn't the first time. I'd say buy one of those s**thole countries but put it under US law. It sho7uld be okay in a generation or two.

In 1867, Andrew Johnson looked into buying Greenland AND Iceland.
Also, we bought the Virgin Islands from Denmark so they weren't always against selling property to the US.
This time, the Danish politicians were less than polite thus validating Trumps sense of insult for the country.
