What opp calls forums and those known ,present and past are ________ I don't have a word for it,not of any realm I ever heard of;But,being its all people know so it's understandable kind of,disturbing but understood.
the only actual reason to " need" the place is for what, gossip? I'd post a snapshot of a forum but ...
personality change therapy isn't needed,I'll live without stress or just watch as done most times, at times,it's stressful enough, good reading albeit odd sometimes , time has no enemy. live for today. tomorrows a gift.

When I fist started posting on OPP, I was considered odd....and some dubed me "teacher" because my respones were long and I used terms that were unfamiliar to a few. After a while I became very selective which threads to share both opinion and research. I suppose, over time I have grown comfortable and feel close to some and to be candid, I have not gone to other sites. Somehow I do not think I would fit in or be comfortable. As for gossip, I do not have time or patience plus you may have noticed I do not respond to name calling. I do have an open mind for opinions, even those not supported by statistics or research.... I keep hoping for an original thought.

My recommendation to you....stop trying to respond to gossip or topics where you have no interest. Creat your own threads and steer them back to your topics when they degrade.

Excellent advise .. I think I was maybe found a lil odd too.. but I do enjoy the friends I've made here in a short time... a "real forum" my hubby was a moderator in a couple of conservative chat rooms, and he had his fair share of "trolls".. Everyone has an opinion about something and while it may not feel "organized" as perhaps the forums he is used to... This is the Beauty of OPP.... There are Several threads to jump in on..as you say what ever interests..and if none that he's interested in create one.. get to know folks in here... Ya know. they say if you remember the 60's you weren't there!... lmao!!.. Lots of Drugs floatin around back then.. lol.. I was too young to be there but watched my mother burn her bra in 1967 her and my "aunt sandie" smokin weed in the middle of the braided round rug in the living room then go across the street to archie's market in North Hollywood to by the store out of munchies!... lol.. so I am a bit familiar with the era... grew up in it... There is Plenty to see in here!! Plenty to get in on!.. I enjoy the back n forth! OH yea.. and He maybe should check out the General chit chat forum.. good stuff goin on there.. no politics, maybe an insinuation now and then but mostly fun!..
