The St. Major & I bought a RV bus twenty years ago and have done pretty much that, although a lot our traveling remained in the Texas State Park system. However, we have hit a number of National Parks, to include Texas' own Big Bend. Yellowstone was certainly memorable. We have yet to hit Glacier National Park, but it is on our future agenda.

We went out west on drivable camper last year. I highly recommend it. Our National Parks are fabulous. The only problems we encountered was lack of camping spaces and pur dog was not allowed on most trails.

I'll be visiting a few OPPers while on my way to Tennessee and North Carolina late next month...those willing to tolerate me. Though my wife won't be joining me, my daughter in Tennessee briefly will.

I/we have been to California several times, as we have a son who lives in Fort Mather, just outside of Sacramento. I also have a dear friend in El Centro whom I've visited., PoppaGringo, a former poster on OPP. I may revisit there (California) some time in the future...not sure when.
