I like the wolf spiders, we have some species of those creatures around here and they are interesting to watch. We don't hasle them so they leave us alone. I did see a videoof a wolf spider k*****g and eating a bat, very interesting!!

When my son was five, he found a wolf spider on the little mountain across the street from our home. We put it in a gallon jar with holes punched in the lid and fed it crickets. After a few months is spun a cocoon and we assumed it was going dormant for the winter. After a while we didn't' pay much attention to it. Then on day I got up to go to work and I found a couple of tiny spiders in the kitchen. I went to work and forgot about the spiders. When I got home, the tiny spiders were everywhere. Mama couldn't get out of the jar because she was quite large. However the babies easily escaped through the air holes punched in the lid. It took several days to catch the little ones and release them outside. My son is now 43 and I hadn't thought about the spiders in decades.
