Unbelievably, I agree with something you said lonesome. But only half of it.
I wholeheartedly agree with the first half of your statement, that we didn't know Trump in 2016. And there's likely many millions more like me.
I was a die-hard Ted Cruz supporter during the Republican primaries. You may recall that Cruz was the last man standing between Trump and the Republican nomination. To many of us, Trump was not a serious candidate. He was a joke, a sideshow. And when Trump called Ted Cruz, 'Lying Ted' and ridiculed his wife, we were incensed!
But when Cruz finally dropped out we were left with the stark choice of Trump or Hillary. Even before knowing about Hillary's many criminal activities, she was already a bridge too far. So we held our collective noses and pulled the lever for Trump.
But I wholly disagree with the second part of your statement about can't waiting to get rid of Trump. Since he's become President, Trump has made believers of all of us constitutional conservatives. He's done everything RIGHT to Make America Great Again. And he's fought the left leaning mainstream media all the way! We couldn't ask for a better warrior for our side. He doesn't quit fighting for us. Like lots of other Republicans would do.
That's why he'll win in a landslide in 2020! Keep America Great 2020!!!
