A Google whistleblower has gone public with claims of e******n manipulation and political bias, according to investigative journalism group Project Veritas, which posted a trove of over 950 documents provided by Google insider Zachary Vorhies, who says he has come forward because he “saw something dark and nefarious going on with the company and I realized that they were going to not only tamper with the e******ns, but use that tampering with the e******ns to essentially o*******w the United States.”

"Google CEO Sundar Pichai told the House Judiciary Committee in December, 2018, that the search engine was not biased against conservatives. Pichai explained what algorithm’s are said Google’s algorithm was not offensive to conservatives because its artificial intelligence does not operate in that manner. He told lawmakers, “things like relevance, freshness, popularity, how other people are using it” are what drives the search results. Pichai said even if his programmers were anti-Republican, the process is so intricate that the artificial intelligence could not be manipulated and it was to complicated to train the algorithm to fit their bias." https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-08-13/distortion-grotesque-google-insider-turns-over-950-pages-documenting-bias-doj

Yes they are biased and that bias is also in Youtube which they also own. Youtube’s bias is more obvious.

A Google whistleblower has gone public with claims... (show quote)

Most definitely, there is extreme bias. But, it flourishes in all ideological groups. For example...

And your example is run by a progressive with her own agenda and bias.

Slatten,
I don't see how you can compare the two. Google is intentionally manipulating it's algorithms and intentionally down ranking search results from sites that have a conservative/libertarian view. They are censoring and shaping information which is a distortion of reality.

Project Veritas does not do that. They expose the behind the scenes planning and thinking (using their subjects own words on film) of those who would seek to manipulate, deceive and shape the general public to their point of view. Project Veritas exposes deception, and does not create deception. That is the profound difference between the two.

While both have a viewpoint, the process by which they operate is the difference between night and day.
