They know what their base wants.
Kamala Harris wasn't speaking for gun ownership for self defense.She was denouncing any in home gun use without knowing the facts.
She was shouting out about tighter restrictions on gun ownership at the same time a shootout in Philadelphia was unfolding.
Without knowing the details or without giving the world a chance to know under what ressoning this person Blue Crossed 6 cops, The story speaks to Ms. Harris' gleeful speed to get to the front of the headlines in denouncing gun owners. Instead of waiting for relevant facts.
It's desperation to drive their poll numbers up.
How can you generalise about gun ownership and use an incident still occurring? When you don't even know under what circumstances that person bought the gun or how it was registered?
Not only too soon after the El Paso and Dayton sprees, but a career politician like Harris or Warren should know not to incite the shooter with rhetoric when lives are still at stake.
This guy is streaming video from inside his apartment. Harris' remarks could put lives in danger.
What colossally bad judgment.
And even worse. the Philly incident was sparked off a narcotics tip. This wasn't a crazed shooter. So the analogy that Harris drew doesn't work.
But she's so desperate to be counted before the DNC closes the podium.
