I think the vast differences in compensation between victims of the September 11 casualty and those who die serving our country in Uniform are profound....
No one is really talking about it either,
because you just don't criticize anything having to do with September 11. Well, I can't let the numbers pass by because it says something really disturbing about the entitlement mentality of this country. If you lost a family member in the September 11 attack, you're going to get an average of $1,185,000....
The range is a minimum guarantee of $250,000, all the way up to $4.7 million...
If you are a surviving family member of an American soldier k**led in action, the first check you get is a $6,000 direct death benefit, half of which is taxable....
Next, you get $1,750 for burial costs.....
If you are the surviving spouse, you get $833 a month until you remarry or die....
And there's a payment of $211 per month for each child under 18....
When the child hits 18, those payments come to a screeching halt...
Keep in mind that some of the people who are getting an average of $1.185 million up to $47 million are complaining that it's not enough....Their deaths were tragic, but for most, they were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time...
Soldiers put themselves in harms way FOR ALL OF US, and they and their families know the dangers....
(Actually, soldiers are put in harms way by politicians and commanding officers.)
We also learned over the weekend that some of the victims from the Oklahoma City bombing have started an organization asking for the same deal that the September 11 families are getting....In addition to that, some of the families of those bombed in the embassies are now asking for compensation as well.....
You see where this is going, don't you...?
Folks, this is part and parcel of over 50 years of entitlement politics in this country...It's just really sad....Every time a pay raise comes up for the military, they usually receive next to nothing of a raise....Now the green machine is in combat in the Middle East while their families have to survive on food stamps and live in low-rent housing...

However, our own U.S.Congress v**ed themselves a raise. Many of you don't know that they only have to be in Congress one time to receive a pension that is more than $15,000 per month....
If some of the military people stay in for 20 years and get out as an E-7, they may receive a pension of $1,000 per month, and the very people who placed them in harm's way receives a pension of $15,000 per month....
I would like to see our elected officials pick up a weapon and join ranks before they start cutting out benefits and lowering pay for our sons and daughters who are now fighting....

"When do we finally do something about this.?"

This issue is neither Right nor Left. It is an issue of what compensation should be afforded to our service personnel's families. I see little evidence that a sitting member of Congress has sacrificed their lives while sitting on their butts in Washington. Let me be clear, we need to make life better than it is for the members of our dead heroes. There is no reason for these tragic times to put those families in monetary jeopardy.

TO THE WOMAN. Other than that, Rush is the voice of decency in many cases. All are humans and
fall SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD WHO MADE US ALL...EVEN RUSH AND THE GUY WHO CONVINCED

No, not god, just a man who can't stand seeing a pompous jerk like Limbaugh treat his wife like she is property there to serve his wishes with no regard for what she wants. Marriages are not sacred when a man is as abusive as Rush was, he will be spending his time in hell if there is one.

If you knew Rush as a person you would know why I was proud to be able to give his wife the confidence and backbone to leave the abusive jerk. Without knowing him you can't judge what I'm talking about, marriages like he had are not sacred.

Every year, Rush dedicates a 3 hour show to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. The LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Rush regularly raises an average of $2 million and he donates matching funds that double the total raised. Over the past 25 years, Rush and his audience have collectively raised nearly $44 million dollars for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, helping provide much-needed research and support for individuals and families affected by blood cancer diseases.

Rush also conducts an annual drive to help the Marine Corps–Law Enforcement Foundation collect contributions to provide scholarships for children of Marines and law enforcement officers and agents who have died in the line of duty. The foundation was the beneficiary of a record $2.1 million eBay auction in October 2007 after Limbaugh listed for sale a letter critical of him signed by 41 Democratic senators and pledged to match the selling price. With the founding of his and his wife's company Two if by Tea, they pledged to donate at least $100,000 to the MC–LEF beginning in June 2011.

Following the Kaepernick kaper rejecting Nike's Betsy Ross shoes that forced the company to recall the shoes, Rush and his wife Kathryn organized a project called "Stand up for Betsy Ross". They bought high quality Made in America T-shirts, had them printed with a Betsy Ross f**g and "Stand up for Betsy Ross". The profits from all sales of these shirts are donated to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

This foundation builds Smart Homes for our most catastrophically injured service members returning home. Each home is custom designed to address the unique needs of each individual. Energy efficient, automated and easily accessible—these homes use "adaptive technology" to help our most severely injured heroes live better, more independent lives. In addition, this foundation pays off mortgages for families of fallen soldiers.

In July, Rush and Kathryn sold a record number of shirts totaling $3 million, all of which went to the foundation. Kathryn is managing this project and she is having a hell of time keeping shirts in stock. Sales are going through the roof.
