Amos chapter 9
Verse 1 - 4
We won’t be able to shield ourselves from judgement on the day of the Lord. Do the best you can to be as good as you can. Do something for somebody else. At least take care of your children.
Verse 5 - 7
When Jesus was on the earth, gentiles had more faith than God’s own children. It doesn’t make any difference what happened during childhood. Avoid what God hates and do what He likes.
Verse 8 - 10
The outcome is different from expectations. God was behind the formation of America.
Verse 11 - 15
This seems to say all of the children of Jacob, Israel and Judah, shall return to the Middle East.
