The Russians are like children playing with matches they have no understanding of acting safely and place even less value on human life. They have needlessly slaughtered more of their own people than any people in history. The thing Russia needs is regime change, sadly Trump doesn't have the brains or guts to pull it off. Putin was afraid of Hillary Clinton, she had bigger balls than Putin and Trump put together and would have jerked Putins chain until he choked.

The US experimented with nuclear powered rockets many years ago, but abandoned the idea when they realized that they couldn't make a reactor small enough to be practical. When Russia said a "small nuclear reactor" exploded, I was reminded of this piece of history.

Are you talking about 3-mile nuclear meltdown??

No, this was NASA back in the late 50's early 60's playing with forces they didn't understand. You refer to the 3 mile Island fiasco which occurred in the 70's.

We still use fissionable material to power satellites and probes, but only for electricity. The nuclear rocket was supposed to use a reactor to provide thrust, but required massive amounts of material ( water mostly ) for the "push".

Not that they are Russian the fact that they are designing weapons of mass destruction that the murderous dictator Putin will use to threaten the free world makes their demise just.
