I'm from the right so I'm not blindly defending Joe. I didn't see him grab. He is in a mob and it is hard to do anything in that situation. His answer is of course absolutely stupid. There are only two g****rs. Absolutely. Second, did he grab her to offer a follow up comment, stupid as it was? Probably. Did he mean to rough her up? I doubt it. He probably just grabbed her to hard without meaning any harm. Let this one pass. There are all to many Joe being Joe moments to work on. He can't help screwing up again.

The girl made him look stupid with the "what are the three g****rs"? Then it dawned on slow Joe that he committed another blunder and that's when he grabbed her arm. Then I believe he threatened her as much as he could get away with, in a crowd. Just my take.
