If you're going to listen to politicians you better have a sense of humor. What most forget is that they are all human beings in Washington D.C.. Which means they're flawed. To follow any of them blindly is to walk off a cliff.

We are all flawed and come with our own set, you would think knowing that fact would make us more tolerable of each other but unfortunately our human nature doesn't usually go in that direction. Another one of our flaws.

You sound like Beto, like its all the fault of the US. We could cut every single source of CO2 in the US to zero and the warming will continue.

Not true at all, we, along with China we are the biggest contributors. The largest contributors should be the ones making the biggest changes,as that would make the biggest impacts.

It's time to appeal to industries to do the right thing and boycott those that don't, since the government is now run by corporations and no longer the people.

Once again. So what? Nothing can be done about it that doesn't put us back into the stone age. None of the so called solutions such as the Green New Deal can be implemented. It's a joke. In my world, the real world, I believe N. Korea, Iran and other tyrannical countries getting nukes will heat up the earth quicker than c*****e c****e. I believe leaving our grand children with over $80,000 in debt per person will affect their quality of life more than c*****e c****e. I believe liberal run cities hosing down thousands of pounds of feces and syringes into the water table will have more of an adverse effect than c*****e c****e. I believe c*****e c****e is the lefts Bible because it's a problem without a real solution. Everything else I mentioned shows people how inept their politicians really are. But that's just me

Why can't the green deal be implemented?

Your making excuses now.

If we were really smart the world would disband all nuclear weapons. we are literally children playing with fire, we still don't know what to do with that waste.

And no, I disagree, debt can be forgiven or worked out, earth is life, an incredibly beautiful and amazing planet, to be cherished not spit on. If you don't like debt write to the president and Congress.

When you consider what man does to the climate, it is completely fixable, but if you refuse to see what we do that has an effect, and no changes are made, then you're correct it is not fixable, this is why taking on our own responsibility is so important.

I agree with you on the other things to be cleaned up also. I've literally seen what hospitals do, especially to not be caught, it's despicable, but all of it is, ALL of the illegal dumping.

Ever wonder why we've accepted bad water and have embraced bottled water, instead of putting all our money into preserving our own clean water by nature?

Just asking why the green new deal can't be implemented honestly shows you know nothing about economics. No argument there. So your idea is to get the world to disband nuclear weapons but I'm making excuses? Debt can not just be forgiven without serious consequences to the ones owed. Wasn't talking just about hospitals. Look at San Francisco. I am not the problem, even though I don't think man has much affect on climate. The problem is the rest of the world wants us to do it all, to us. The biggest polluters get a pass. Stupid, as is most so called liberal solutions.

You are not the problem, your attitude sure is.

You don't think man has much effect on climate, do some simple research on the amount of carbon that is emitted into the air by man in comparison to let's say, volcanoes. But look who I'm talking to the party that dismantled car emissions and standards and industry regulations. The biggest polluters are all the republicans driving around in their gas guzzlers.

Apparently, you're ignorant on what the new deal is really about, and after your comment, I see you're incapable of a civil conversation, I'll end it here, I can't be bothered.

Our air and water is actually cleaner than before Trump took office according to the EPA. You guys never disappoint. Can’t come up with a real workable solution. Can’t admit it so run home to mommy. You guys are so predictable.

Our out put is highly exaggerated and China and India are building more coal fired power plants. Sorry dude, but it ain't just up to us. To do what you are suggesting would upend the world economy.

What this country does will make little impact if the rest of the world doesn't contribute in the removal of the gasses. Also have the volcanoes stop erupting.

Roughly 197 billion tons of ice from Greenland melted into the Atlantic Ocean in July, Ruth Mottram, a climate scientist with the Danish Meteorological Institute, told CBS News Friday. While Greenland's ice sheets usually melt during the summer, record temperatures have meant a longer and more dramatic melt season. As sea levels rise globally, so do the likelihood of e*****e w*****r events and coastal flooding.

Why do you think it is named Greenland? Hint: Not because it was covered in ice.

This is why you can't be taken seriously. You say, "If we were really smart the world would disband all nuclear weapons. we are literally children playing with fire, we still don't know what to do with that waste."

Nuclear is cleaner than other sources of energy. It is even cleaner than solar because the production of solar panels and batteries use more resources and are less efficient. There are far fewer deaths and accidents from nuclear. Nuclear waste can be recycled, albeit, expensively at this time. However, it generates less waste than other sources and new methods of disposal/recycle are being developed. Yes, nuclear presents problems as does every technology but they are not insurmountable.

You are right about me not wasting my time reading your denial articles. At some point one must say “Enough !” and reach a conclusion.

That's because liberal think they are right while conservatives will listen to opposing viewpoints and evidence even when told the "science is settled" which it is not. Be honest with yourself instead of trying to save face. This is what being open-minded is.

You also raise some troubling issues. And we can accept that there is some t***h in what you say. That's is why we need to work on real solutions and not pie-in-the-sky pipe dreams that do nothing but impoverish more people. The best solution is to help 3rd world countries become economically independent and with their acquired wealth they will have enough to invest in mitigation, such as the U.S.A. has done with water, air, toxic sites, etc. Incidentally, the worst environment record belongs to the country that claimed it existed to bring freedom and e******y to its' people, The USSR. Command economies and more government control are not a solution.

Republicans are not the only ones driving gas guzzlers. Your high priest of g****l w*****g, Al Gore, flies around the world to spread his contrived threat to mankind, releasing more carbon than most citizens use in a lifetime. I bet I have a smaller carbon footprint than you do. By using an RV that is just big enough for my needs, unlike the MacMansions that many liberals and Hollywood glitterati live in as pretentious status symbols that negates all their efforts to preach environmentalism to the rest of the lowly peons they despise as despicable, I live energy and resource-efficient.
