Trump has lost little confidence of farmers, they are accustomed to ups & downs brought on by weather and other anomalies, and accounts I have read by many indicate that they understand that what he's doing will pay off for them in the long run.
The Chinese are becoming desperate, Trump's tariffs are hurting their economy.
They are unaccustomed to being challenged this way, used to being the schoolyard bully with no one standing up to them.
Then along comes a POTUS who is also a businessman, and who rightly puts America and Americans first, including our farmers -- you know, some of Hillary's "deplorables," and they are trying everything they can to get around him, which isn't gonna work.
Just as what happened at the Argentina summit, Xi will be back, cap in hand...
Look at what Trump just told Germany: pony up your fair share (2% of GDP) or we'll have to withdraw all U.S. troops from your country. "If you want to spend all that money on social programs, fine, but the U.S. taxpayer will no longer pick up the tab for it."
The fine folks on your side of the political equation have no problem taxing us into oblivion and throwing the proceeds around like mad money, but in Trump we have a POTUS who demands bang for our buck.
As in everything else he's done since walking into the hostile jungle of Washington politics, Trump will win on Germany (or pull our people out) and he will win on China.

As a farmer myself we are accustomed to ups and downs and for the most part we know what Trump is trying to do and that's something no other President had balls enough to do !
Like so many liberal trump h**ers like the ones here on OPP who are giving him a bad time because of the farmer and tariff war they have no real understanding !
Seems to me they like bending over and taking it up the yazoose by the Chinese I guess they must be use to it !
