Ever notice that the more money one has, the fewer complaints one voices about one's lot in life?

Ever notice that after every new massacre, the same conversations around finger pointing and suggested fixes occur.................until the next massacre happens.............to repeat the same conversations all over again?

Ever notice that whenever we talk about the need to come together as a Nation, we point out what accommodations others must make to achieve this unity, but never about what accommodations we're willing to make?

Ever notice that whenever there's an emergency, such as the multiple mass shootings this weekend, politicians rush to social media or the closest camera, but never interrupt their golf game or other leisure activities to do it?

Ever notice that every job on the planet has, as a condition for continued employment and/or promotions, performance and productivity criteria......................except for those elected to their jobs?

Ever notice that whenever elected people talk about money saving measures, they always start at the BOTTOM instead of at the TOP? As an example; teachers could receive better pay if we didn't have superintendents and their deputies, commissioners and their deputies, assistants for each, all of whom have receptionists and 1 or 2 secretaries apiece - yet - school districts cut programs and teaching slots to save money.
