By now we are all sickened about the murders of at least twenty innocents in Texas.

Before we know the how, who, or what someone tell me how and what gun laws would have stopped this tragedy. I’m a gun owner. I would gladly give them up if doing so guaranteed innocents would never be k**led like this again.

We know that giving up our firearms isn't an option.

We would be in the predicament that the Venezuelan people are in.

A tyrant can seize power and katy barred the door.

Thus might be just the very beginning of public shootings.

If it were a Somali or some other crazy Muslim, or let's say hundreds of them, I want to maintain the capability to give back.

I hope we actually hear the t***h as to the motivating factor in this horrific murdering spree.

Motivating Factor? Mental illness , anyone ? This country is facing a DNA crisis . which is an equal opportunity affliction , class or "elite" not exempt.

Give up the guns and a lot more people will die. The only reason we still have a republic, more or less, is the fact that we are an armed populace.

Good. Then do so and convince others. See what happens.

I'm wondering why they didn't call in Bill De Blasio, Marilyn Mosby or Al Sharpton rather than the police to deal with the problem.

Here is the WalMart shooter's Manifesto.

Seems Crusius h**ed politicians of all stripes, Republicans and Democrats alike.

My ideology has not changed for several years. My opinions on automation, immigration, and the rest
predate Trump and his campaign for president. I putting this here because some people will blame the
President or certain p**********l candidates for the attack. This is not the case. I know that the media
will probably call me a w***e s*********t anyway and blame Trump’s rhetoric. The media is infamous
for f**e news. Their reaction to this attack will likely just confirm that.

There are enough firearms in the USA, for every man, woman and child to have at least two, so we'll have to look elsewhere for answers. We don't have a gun problem, we have a violence problem.

You’re profoundly ignorant when it comes to guns and I’m being nice.

People can be k**led very quickly with a knife and there have been mass k*****gs with knives in countries that don’t allow guns. If a nut wants to k**l people they will find a way.

Agree totally. Not one new gun law could have stopped this. I predict that before it’s all over in Texas and Ohio we will find either mental illness or extremism involved and warning signs were ignored.

I agree. I think social media, video games, and prescription drugs are the main culprits.

I agree. The more connected people are with social media the worse it gets. It actually puts distance between us.

What the left doesn't get, or care to get is that every totalitarian government in the last century started by banning guns. Venezuela is just one example. A guy I work withs wife is from Venezuela she says her family still living there has no way to protect themselves from gangs, drug lords and government thugs. She said just ten years ago you couldn't imagine what's happening there now.
We've already got lawlessness in this country supported by politicians. Sanctuary cities is a good example. Punk ass Beto is already trying to raise money off of this tragedy and that i***t Ryan blamed Trump.
