The state of the Police

Recently I observed a segment of the local news that purportedly, according to some people, showed the local police behaving badly. Somehow, only a segment of this incident was broadcasted to the world. Now the police, at least the administrative staff, are at wits end trying to deal with all the profanity and rude behavior from the public. This happened in Effingham County GA. The Effingham County police are constantly receiving vitriol from all over the US. This, to me, is a prime example of what the founding fathers referred to as the tyranny of the majority.

I understand that throughout history r*******n has been a constant component. But lately, with the help of technology, many people have erroneous amount misguided indignation. At the present, local law enforcement is a target. This factor was recently depicted in a news article showing NYC patrol officers being doused with buckets and trashcans filled water. The unfortunate part of this is the total lack of proper response by the police. This response by the police probably being a result of them being portrayed in a negative light. If this environment is allowed to continue, what happens next, buckets of paint, acid, and gasoline?

Police across the US are finding it difficult to promote new officers. Obviously, the career is not worth the stress

You can thank Obama and Eric Holder for escalating this anti-police sentiment. The garbage was taken out but the stench is still here.
