4. An avalanch of futile 'bills of impeachment'?
5. A vast number of equally futile attempts to repeal the tax cut, restore ObamaCare, and grant amnesty to i*****l a***ns?

Maybe there was no impeachment "bump" but only 3% of the population listened to the full of the report and mainstream news hardly reported on it. What you aren't factoring in is what happens when the mainstream news starts reporting on the impeachment inquiry on a nightly basis what is going to happen to that "bump" now? By that, I mean that 30% of those who watch TV watch Fox News which means that 70% of those who watch news watch mainstream news and they will be getting how Trump was a liar, how he conspired with the Russians, and who he Obstructed justice. It's one thing when 70% of the nightly news here that about Trump every once in a while. It is fully another thing when they start hearing it night in and night out.

Where do you think the nation stood on Nixon before they started hearing what a POS he really was? Here's a guess. Nixon went from near zero to close to 70% when he decided to resign. Now, fortunately, you cons will never allow Trump to get near 70% but if the Senate refuses to impeach him can you cons hold onto your majority? The presidency isn't the only thing you are trying to hang onto--but no doubt you think a president being smeared nightly by the press can hang on when only 37% of the nation can be counted as his base...

How are you pulling these numbers out of your ass? Your first comparison is to the 4th quarter GDP when the promise by Trump was 3% or better. So shouldn't the comparison be to Trump's promise? Is there a reason you don't want to make your comparison to what Trump promised? After all, he is a man who keeps his promises correct!

In case you've forgotten here is Trump tweet on his predictions: "The economy now has hit 3 percent. Nobody thought we'd be anywhere close. I think we can go to 4, 5, and maybe even 6 percent." - Donald Trump, Dec. 16, 2017

So we should be hitting 4%, 5%, or 6% not the 2.2% that it hit. 2.2% is a number that was common under Obama. If your hero is no better than Obama then admit it. If he can't then don't try to sugar coat his abysmal failures...especially when, even after his tax cut, is not better than a man you painted as a failure...
