I started off majoring in Forestry and land management and was accepted into the University ov Montana in Missoula BUT my mother remarried (military) and we got t***sferred to Texas. I switched to Pharmacy and also pursued a minor in math. I got to my senior year (pharmacy was 5 years, not 6 like today) and did my pharmaceutical internship at the University Hospital in San Antonio. I h**ed filling prescriptions and being confined to those narrow rows. Sooo I switched to nursing and graduated from the University of Texas with my BS. My student advisor totaled up all my hours and courses and have completed majors in chemistry, biochemistry and biology and a minor in math, plus my BSN. I started going to graduate school, completed 14 hours, but had already started working in intensive care and loved it so I got my certificate in advanced life support. I had found my niche and worked cardiac an surgical ICU for 40 years. By the way, there are a LOT of Christian doctors and nurses.

Impressive. I spent 4 years in a Catholic seminary college (BA in Philosophy—texts/lectures in Latin—and a minor in English Lit.), and 2 years of Theology before deciding my gifts lay elsewhere).
Taught high school and elementary school for 35 years. Retired now and do a lot of traveling with my partner of 44 years.
I hear there are Muslim and Buddhist doctors too.
