Rather than creating their own narrative, Democrats are content with trying to limit the ammunition available for Trump's narrative. Trump supporters are a minority within the GOP, with a larger number of Republicans tiptoeing around them, hoping someone will rescue their party for them. Trump has made no effort to expand his base, yet due to his non stop "tuning up", his base are the most energized and dangerous.

Showing the t***h of the adage " once a Marine, always a Marine ", Bob Mueller showed uncommon ( for DC that is ) courage by wading into the hyper-partisan swamp to expose the rats living there.
Rather than creating their own narrative, Democrat... (show quote)

Looks like to me he showed alzhimers onset. That and he just refused to answer ANY question that he didn't want to. Yep...that's courage...that's t***sparency...that's serving the country OK. The democrats messed their pants for the unredracteded report, so why didn't they unredract Mueller. The whole thing was s sham, just like the investigation

The only ones who care about this anymore are the Democrats in Congress and the Trump h**ers. Yesterday, to borrow a quote, was much ado about nothing.

Mueller is a joke. He looked like a drugged moron.

He most definitely is ignorant if the contents of his supposed report.

The whole thing was sham and embarrassing to the Democratic's.

He needs to answer for how biased and politically motivated his dossier is.

It is often erroneously spewed that Mueller is a Republican, but played games with every single one who posed a question.

Anyone who will not admit the bias is dishonest or too dumb to work a doorknob.

Mueller and Comey are friends and business culprits....they both have made money from the Clinton Crime Foundation.

Neither fixer is a legitimate Republican, that can be easily proven by following their money trail back to its source.

"The Muller investigation was more than an expensive farce: it was nothing less than a c**p attempt, failed, but still an attempt. I think we all know the kind of punishments for that, forming a rather round shadow above the t*****r's heads."

Hey Slat, maybe you can clear something up for me. How can you be in the military and see how the Democrats have pissed on us since the late 60's and still remain a Democrat ? I've asked this question over the last couple of years with no responds. So, could you answer this for me please???

Though this is off-topic for the thread, Skoops...here goes:

I will start, e.g., just as you did, by responding with the opinion that republican administrations have pissed on us (however differently) just as badly as democratic administrations have.

Wasteful and frivolous defense spending looms large. The most wasteful defense spending is generally by republican administrations...with Ronald Reagan's being most infamous. Among other items, Reagan's budget hit the American taxpayer for exorbitantly priced toilet seats and common everyday tools such as hammers hidden(?)in defense contracts. Such items were charged to the US Government (taxpayers) at hundreds of dollars apiece. As a rule, overspending has been primarily on luxuries for the upper brass, along with the ever-present padding for the private defense contractors. The common foot soldiers were and often seemingly remain an afterthought. That thought process carries on through the middle-eastern campaigns 'til today. Read the following:

https://www.c***tsheet.com/culture/states-cities/the-disturbing-ways-we-waste-money-our-military-budget.html/

https://newrepublic.com/article/79066/waste-defense-spending-america-pentagon

Secondly, I will remind you this is the major problem President Eisenhower warned the nation of in his farewell address: https://www.militaryindustrialcomplex.com/military-industrial-complex-speech.asp

(Pay attention to the relevant-to-this-discussion section IV.)

Lastly, though I have v**ed democrat more often than not, I am an independent centrist.

Being a relative newbie, you might not have been aware that I wrote in Jim Webb for president in 2016.

Why bother if that's all you took from it

I answered you right off by stating that they both piss on us. [quote]: "I will start, e.g., just as you did by responding with the opinion that republican administrations have pissed on us (however differently) just as badly as democratic administrations have."

Did you even read the links provided It appears doubtful.

Both seem to increase the defense budget to pad both theirs and contractors pockets, with (IMO) the GOP being worse. The everyday foot soldiers, airmen and sailors are just paid little more than lip service. I offered recollections and links in my response to provide samples of how they do so. And, Eisenhower's farewell speech also provided his predictions for what was to come via a military/industrial complex.

That is why I v**ed 3'rd party my whole life, until Ron Paul got the Republican nomination.
BOTH parties had been bought by the same sources.
Trump trumped them using social media to communicate his message to the v****g public.
AND!
He visited whole lot of people across the country at rallies.
He sidestepped the bought MSM.
Something Ron Paul was unable to do.

Slat, I did read everything you sent to me! My take away was you said that most of the time you v**ed Democrat. Making me believe that while in the military you v**ed left and it didn't matter what was said or done by the left toward the military was ok. I was raised a Democrat. Spending 21 years in the army opened my eyes. Slat, thank you for your service!!
