If that was the case, then Trump would be undergoing impeachment proceedings right now. Today, instead of the Mueller hearings, there would have been The Trump Impeachment Hearings that I watched for 8 hours. Obviously, due to no collusion, no conspiracy and no crime (Done! Done and Done!), Trump is not being impeached - and he won't be. His "I'm f**k*d" statement should not interpreted as an admission of guilt, but should be thought of as- upon hearing that there was this group of 17 or 19 (or wh**ever the number was) prosecutors hired by Mueller who all previously worked for the Clinton's (Hillary mainly), you can bet your sweet ass that is exactly what he said. If it were me I would probably feel (as I lose my cool) "I'm f**k*d, I don't have a chance. The deck has been deliberately stacked against me". Obviously that's what happened to Trump.
However, as he has done over the years, Trump sat down, took a deep breadth, and meticulously analyzed the situation determining that there was very little to worry about. And, so goes the legend of Donald Trump. He turns the tables on the Washington deep swamp by reversing their own Washington, D.C. two-step against them. They h**e him even more now because he played the game better than they ever played it.
The Dems (since I got interested in U.S. politics in 1967) have always been the proud, nasty BIG BULLIES in D.C. - and like bullies, don't like it when someone finally fights back - gives them a bloody nose - outdoing them with far and away more exuberance and "bully-ness" then they could ever muster.
Poor Dems! Why don't you guys just play the game they way it's intended - You lost the e******n. So, bite your lip! Sit down! Count to 10! Stay seated! Cross your legs! Shut up - keep your mouth shut - don't move your lips. Then - cool it until 2020. Look, to their credit, The Dems outfoxed and outdid the Republicans in the 2018 e******ns with the takeover of the House. Just think about what you could have been doing for almost three years towards real movement POLITICALLY to remove Trump and maybe even take over the Senate, not to mention the real progress that might have been made towards eliminating the problems at the southern border. NOW, there will be more investigations - this time by the DOJ as they investigate the investigators. (Comey will get his comeuppance). The FISA procedure and the FISA judges will undergo a thorough (probably long over due anyway) investigation, as it may be in need of an overhauling since it was implemented in 1978 (
https://tinyurl.com/FISA-1978). Plus, who knows what dirt might be turned up on the Clintonistas, Comey, Brennan, et al.
Also, take a look at this:
https://tinyurl.com/No-Impeachment-Opinion. It is an opinion piece from the N.Y. Post that makes the case that Mueller's testimony is the end of any impeachment talk. Then to add insult to injury for Adam Scheff, the leader of his party, Nancy Pelosi is still resisting impeachment (although Rep Eric Swalwell says that the Mueller Hearing was just "Act 1" which sounds to me like grasping at straws. Given that Swalwell is from California, grasping at straws is a significant problem.)
